    King Creole | NBA Total

    double-dime bet – 736 OKL / 735 LAC - OVER 212.5
    Analysis:
    9:30pm ET – 6:30pm PT / #739 / Game Five / Round Two
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS @ OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
2** Play on: OVER THE TOTAL

According to the OU results of this series, Game Five should see the ‘OVER’ cashing… if the current back-and-forth pattern holds true. Sunday’s Game Four was the lowest scoring game of the series thus far, with a combined total of 200 points. But let’s not forget that the Thunder came THIS close to putting that game into overtime… as a last-second tip-in was dancing tantalizingly around the rim. So far in the series, Game One went OVER… Game Two went UNDER… Game Three went OVER… and Game Four went UNDER.

We’ll be playing on a Thunder ‘OVER’ in some very favorable situations.
    1) OKLAHOMA CITY has gone 9-1 O/U at home off a Playoff ‘Under’ when the OU Line is 214 or less points…
    2) OKLAHOMA CITY has gone a PERFECT 10-0 O/U since February of this season as home with ONE day of REST when the OU line is 215 or less points (3-0 O/U in the Playoffs thus far)…
    3) OKLAHOMA CITY has gone a PERFECT 6-0 O/U since February at home after scoring LESS than (<) 100 points in a game.

We’re still intrigued by the Clippers’ strong ‘OVER’ numbers whenever they have the ‘dog’ role attached to themselves. That’s just one of numerous situations that have us looking for a high-scoring outcome this evening.
    1) LOS ANGELES has gone 14-2 O/U since December 1st of this season as UNDERDOGS…
    2) LOS ANGELES has gone a perfect 7-0 O/U when off a Playoff ‘Under’…
    3) LOS ANGELES has gone 8-0 O/U in the Playoffs after scoring 102 or less points… when the OU line is 195 or more points

This CLIPPERS / THUNDER series has gone 6-1 O/U in the last seven meetings IN Oklahoma City when the OU line is 215 < points.

As mentioned above, Sunday’s Game Four went ‘Under the Total’.
11-0 O/U last 4 years: All Playoff GAME FIVES (CLIPS @ THUNDER) off a Game Four UNDER… when the OU Line is > 182 points.

Ok City lost Game One… won Games Two and Three… and lost Game Four.
7-1 O/U last 5 years: All GAME FIVE home teams off a SU loss… BB SU wins… and a SU loss (THUNDER).

The host Thunder may have lost Game FOur, but they covered the spread. In fact, they’re on a 3-game ATS winning streak.
12-2 O/U since 2005 / 6-0 O/U since 2009: All PLAYOFF home favorites of -4 > pts (THUNDER) off 3 or more ATS Playoff wins in a row.

Also as mentioned above, the score of Sunday’s loss for OKC was 101 to 99.
9-1 O/U last 4 years: All PLAYOFF teams off a SU Playoff road loss if 3 < pts that also went ‘Under the Total’ (THUNDER) when the OU line is 175 > points.

This particular Day of the Week…
NBA Playoff Western Conference GAME FIVES on a TUESDAY have gone 8-1 O/U in the last 5 years…
NBA Playoff ROUND TWO games on a TUESDAY have gone 9-1-1 O/U since 2010 when the OU Line is > 182 points.

Tuesday's MLB betting cheat sheet: Rockies punishing low totals

Here's a comprehensive look at betting notes for Tuesday's major-league games:

      Cubs Cruise as Road Dog

The Chicago Cubs (+150) walloped the host St. Louis Cardinals 17-5 Monday for their biggest win of the season. Chicago improved to 5-7 as a road underdog against a divisional opponent; the Cubs (+222) resume their series in St. Louis on Tuesday.

      Pomeranz a Heavy Favorite

Oddsmakers were rewarded for their faith in Oakland left-hander Drew Pomeranz last time out, as he tossed five shutout innings as a -157 favorite in his first start of the season en route to a 2-0 Athletics victory. Pomeranz is installed at a whopping -191 for Tuesday's duel with the visiting Chicago White Sox.

      Rocky Mountain High

The Colorado Rockies have given Over bettors plenty of love on low totals, going 6-1-2 O/U in their last nine games with the number set at 8.5 or lower. Colorado (+140, 7.5) opens a three-game interleague series in Kansas City on Tuesday.

      Pitching Notes

      * Tampa Bay Rays lefty David Price is an underdog Tuesday for the first time all season, entering at -102 against Hisashi Iwakuma and the Seattle Mariners. Price is 5-1 in his last six starts as a dog, posting a sensational 1.38 ERA in those outings.

      * Washington ace Stephen Strasburg has been a scoring magnet at night this season, going 4-0 O/U in four evening starts. Strasburg, who boasts a 3.31 ERA in night games compared to 2.60 in day outings, will be under the lights Tuesday when his Nationals (-129, 8) visit the Arizona Diamondbacks.

      Batting Notes

      * Yankees catcher Brian McCann is batting just .213 for the season; New York is just 3-9 against the moneyline in games in which McCann doesn't record a hit. McCann will look to bounce back Tuesday as the Yankees (-135, 8.5) host the cross-town rival Mets.

      * San Francisco outfielder Angel Pagan went 3-for-4 in Monday's 4-2 win over Atlanta, helping the Giants improve to 21-7 in games in which he records at least one hit. Pagan and the Giants (-103, 7) welcome the Atlanta Braves to town Tuesday.

      Totals Streak

Detroit Tigers (1-5 O/U): So much for having one of the most dangerous lineups in the majors. The Tigers have struggled at the plate during their Under streak, scoring more than four runs just once over that stretch.

      Prop of the Day

The Baltimore Orioles have returned to their 2012 form when it comes to pulling out close games, having gone 9-3 in one-run affairs so far this season. The Orioles are a +375 longshot to win by exactly one run Tuesday against visiting Detroit.

      Injury Notes

      * Miami Marlins right-hander Jose Fernandez may miss the rest of the season with a torn ligament in his pitching elbow. The 21-year-old finished sixth in money won as a rookie in 2013 ($1,175) and is 12-0 with a 1.09 ERA in 20 career home starts.

      * Toronto Blue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus could be headed to the disabled list with a right hamstring injury. Toronto - which is 8-1 O/U in games in which Rasmus homers and 16-13-1 when he doesn't - opens a series Tuesday with the visiting Cleveland Indians (+106, 9).

      Weather Watch

      * Wind at Target Field is expected to blow out to right field at 8 mph. Minnesota, which hosts Boston (-106, 8.5), went 6-8 against the moneyline and 4-10 O/U in 14 games last season with the wind blowing in that direction.

      * Citizens Bank Park will see wind blowing from right to left field at 10 mph for Tuesday's game between Philadelphia (-148, 7.5) and the visiting Angels. Teams combined to average 2.33 home runs in 12 games under similar conditions in 2013, slightly better than the stadium average.

      Umpire of the Day

Under is 7-1-2 in umpire Bob Davidson's last 10 games behind home plate. Davidson will call the balls and strikes for the game between the Tigers (-105, 8.5) and Orioles.

** Odds, stats, weather forecast and probable pitchers as of 10:05 a.m. ET Tuesday.

For May 13th, we have a {B} bet on Atlanta on the +1.5 run line. Note that this will be an unofficial bet due to the fact that the system filters out betting against the #1 rated RPI team. Atlanta's opponent is the San Francisco Giants, who is currently the #1 rated RPI team in the league!

Pacers/Wizards OVER 89, 1H, 2* – All season long the Pacers have been a 1H over and 2H UNDER team. I think that both teams will get out a score okay in the 1st quarter…I look for the 1st half to be around 95 or so points, and I did lean UNDER in the entire game, but I just think that line is tight. So let’s go OVER in the 1H tonight and start tonight off with a WINNER!

                                - 2 team, 5 point teaser, Clippers +10 & Pacers -0.5, 2*
