We have Weaver and the Angels against Bauer and the Indians. Weaver has been a good pitcher thus far this year owning a winning record and posting an ERA just north of 3.50. This is due to change night according to our system. Weaver is very overrated per our system and is due for a shellacking at the hands of the Indians. Weaver's best pitch this season has been his curveball and the Indians are excellent at hitting the curveball. Additionally, since moving Santana to the bottom of the lineup he has produced and gives the Indians some added pop at the bottom of the lineup. Bauer on the other hand in 6 starts is 1-3 with an ERA north of 4.20. Our system grades Bauer as a better pitcher than he has shown and should be able to rebound. Bauer has many pitches in his arsenal but his best two are the slider and curveball which the Angels are near the bottom of the league. As long as Bauer doesn't get too dependent on his fastball the rest of his arsenal should cause the Angels fits!

Correia and the Twins take the field against De La Rosa and the Red Sox. Correia has been pretty poor all year with a 3-7 record and ERA north of 5.60. Obviously, a pitcher will not finish the year with that high of an ERA but according to our system we don't see that happening in this matchup against the Red Sox. Correia is a cutter throwing pitcher and the Red Sox are the best cutter hitting team in baseball. Correia is poor night most likely giving up at least 4 earned. De La Rosa on the other hand has a limited sample size but our system loves him especially against the Twins. The Red Sox will be at 5+ runs while the Twins will be lucky to score 3 runs.
Milwaukee and Arizona Under 8.5
Peralta against McCarthy in the desert tonight. McCarthy has been destroyed all year with a record of 1-9 and an ERA north of 5.25 however McCarthy is a better pitcher than he has shown and our system is looking for him to come back down tonight against the Brewers. The same can't be said for Peralta who owns an ERA south of 3. Our system grades Peralta similar to his ERA and as a result there should be limited runs in the desert tonight.
