Well our love of the RL hit us hard yesterday. We do always put insurance on our RL games though so for us yesterday was not as bad as a day. We would have been 4-1 yesterday taking just all the games straight up. That's the risk you take when taking the RL's and for us we feel in the long run the better value is taking RL's. We will continue to live and die by that theory. How frustrating was it watching Detroit struggle all day then finally we get the break we needed on Ian Kinsler's 3 run HR to make it 4-2 going into the bottom of the 9th. It just didn't work out for us. Let's have a good Sunday today!!
The Connecticut Sun has been overvalued after their nice winning streak that brought them in the 2nd place in the Eastern Conference, they lost on friday at Washington 63-69.people seem to forget that the Sun have only one road win out of their last 14,and that was here at the Madison Square Garden on June 13,
The Sun looked a bit out of gas on friday, the last 2 games Connecticut started terrible 2-14 against the Mystics and 2-13 against the Chicago Sky, in both that games they were lucky that heir opponents let them back in the game, the Sun had to play without many key players the last weeks and in the second half on friday they had to pay for that
On the other side the New York Liberty are not that bad as it seems, their All Star Cappie Pondexter is struggling with her shooting, for the first time in her career she has been held scoreless on friday, they New York Liberty have also the problem that they started slow the last games, it can be frustrating when you always have to come from behind, I trust Coch Bill Laimbeer that the Liberty will come out strong today and take care of not bringing themselves into that situation again,it could be a high scoring game too, but I take the side of the Liberty, Connecticut cooled down with their excellent 3 point shooting against the Mystics on friday, they missfired 12 of 15
I am sure we will see a different Cappie Pondexter today, she and All Star Tina Charles have for sure the ability to carry this team, highly talented spanish point Anna Cruz need to be more consistent and the Liberty have to improve their game on the boards, too many offensive rebounds for their opponents
