7-Unit Play. Take #522 Sacramento (-3.5) over Denver (10 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5)
This Sacramento team is better than people think. They already have wins over the Clippers, the Blazers, and these Denver Nuggets. This lineup is solid, with Darren Collison, DeMarcus Cousins, and Rudy Gay. The most significant aspect of these Kings is how well they are playing on the defensive end of the floor. The Kings have the 12th best overall defense in the NBA and they are tops in the league in rebounding margin. The Kings have outrebounded their opponents by nine rebounds a game, while the Nuggets have a negative rebounding margin. This is going to be huge tonight in a game that could be close for a while. Sacramento is getting solid play, not only from their top three players, but some reserves as well, in Carl Landry and Reggie Evans. Don't sleep on the Kings as they are absolutely a better team than the Nuggets right now. Denver is 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall and 0-5 ATS in their last five versus the Western Conference. The Kings are 4-0 ATS in their last four games versus the NBA's Northwest Division.
