UTAH STATE (-7) over Wyoming
8 p.m. ET
Yes, the Aggies will be starting their fourth-string QB tonight, but this is a team that has been playing without its star QB Chuckie Keaton since Week 2 of the season and there hasn’t been much of a drop off for the offense. In fact, the Aggies are 4-1 ATS and straight-up the last four weeks, averaging 35 points per game in those wins against competition very similar to this Wyoming team. Look for a letdown tonight from the Cowboys, who are just 5-11 ATS in their last 16 at home and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 versus teams with winning records. Wyoming snapped a four-game winning streak last week at Fresno State and won’t have enough in the tank to repeat that effort here. Lay the road chalk.
Did you notice how the line shifted from -11 to -10 when news that Rose probably won’t play broke? That’s a clear indication of how little impact he now has on the lines. The key to this game is that Noah is back and this Bulls front-line will absolutely dominate Philly’s Noel-less group. Bulls should cruise.
Milwaukee Bucks +5
Not sure why this Detroit team is laying more than 2 buckets at home. They stink right now. At least Milwaukee is competing, plus their depth gives them an advantage here.
Sacramento Kings +5
Phoenix is the ‘flashy’ team this year but Kings seem to have it ‘going on right now’. This squad has been impressive, especially their 11th ranked Defensive Efficiency. Suns have not been that dominant this year and I believe Kings are the ‘better’ team right now.
Cleveland Cavaliers -5
Yes, Cavs are a dysfunctional group right now but do you know who is even more so right now? The Nuggz! At least Cleveland has superstars on their squad. Who does Denver have, Ty Lawson? He has gone 1-7, 1-8, and 3-7 in 3 of the last 4 games. Bounce back game for the Cavs and I expect LeBron to go off here.
This is a complete mismatch on the ice tonight with Anaheim playing Arizona. Every facet of the game favors the Ducks tonight and that is why we are making the play on the Ducks. Arizona is a middle of the road offensive squad but are going to have difficulty scoring against Andersen who is in the net for the Ducks tonight. Andersen is 3-1-0 at home while only allowing 1.50 goals per game and a save percentage just shy of .950. In the net for Arizona is Mike Smith who has really struggled of late. He got the win in his last start but prior to that he had lost 3 straight. His save percentage sits below .900 and he is giving up 3.48 goals per game. This should be easy skating for the Ducks at home tonight. Score prediction Anaheim 4 and Arizona 1
