Anthony has shot the ball well in the two Knicks victories, and poorly in their last two losses. He is going to break out tonight and put up a big number. Brooklyn has not shown that they should be favored by more than a possession in this game. I will gladly take the points in this one, but I don’t see us needing them as the Knicks win this game outright. This will be a battle as it is a “pride thing” for the two NYC teams, but the Knicks are going to have the upper hand. New York is welcoming back JR Smith tonight after his one-game suspension, and his play is going to ignite the Knicks. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see the Knicks pull away late and win this game by close to double-figures. New York is 4-0 ATS in their last four road games, and 4-0 ATS in their last four games versus the NBA’s Atlantic Division. The Nets meanwhile are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games, and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games versus a team with a losing record. The Knicks are 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 trips to Brooklyn and the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between the two teams.
