          Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach

          8* (Regular Play) on Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Sooners host the Baylor Bears Saturday. “The Bulldog” breaks down his selection on Oklahoma with his Three-Factor Analysis:

          1. The Sooners have a dominating ground game that can chew up yardage and control the pace of the game. Oklahoma, which rumbled for 510 yards on the ground versus Iowa State, will keep the Baylor offense on the sidelines as long as it can Saturday.

          2. The Bears aren’t used to playing opponents who can hit back with the same type of scoring force. Oklahoma can match Baylor’s offensive output but also comes in with a stout defense that limits opponents to just 21.8 per game – second in the Big 12.

          3. Oklahoma has locked down opposing rushing attacks this season, limiting opponent to just 117.9 yards per game – 18th in the country. Baylor depends on its up-tempo rushing attack to give QB Bryce Petty breathing room. With the Bears unable to break big runs, the Sooners will put the pressure on Petty to produce. He was just 13 for 36 for 223 yards versus West Virginia when BU’s rushing game fell flat.

                INDIAN COWBOY (With write-up)

7-UnitPlay. #164 Take Okahoma -5.5 over Baylor (Saturday @ Noon est)

Oklahomahas a great deal of revenge coming into this game against Baylor and thoughBaylor needs to make a statement game here, it is likely difficult to do ithere against a Sooners team that is going to be more than hungry coming intothis game. This is a solid public fade with 65% of the public on Baylor theUnderdog here but keep in mind that Baylor routed this team the last time theyplayed them by a score of 41-12 and that undoubtedly still stings for anOklahoma team that was a 17 point underdog in the game and still got routed. Now, Oklahoma comes off a pair of losses this year and a rout of Iowa State andreturn home to face Baylor as they were not looking ahead to this game at alland took care of business in their last game. This is a team that is led byCoach Stoops who is one of the best at making the necessary changes to make histeam better the next time they face a team. Contests include against any SECteams, revenge against any squad and now against a Baylor team who has a highpotent offense that runs into a Oklahoma team that is now an underdog in the APpoll though not by the line listed. Oklahoma is fabulous when they take on theDog role such as what they did against Alabama and others. They thrive on thatroll. So it should be no surprise here to see Oklahoma likely step up and dowell against Baylor as Oklahoma has a very underrated defense overall. Note, that Oklahoma has done well against high potent offenses and went into WestVirginia this year and beat them by double-digits and they are 6 points awayfrom an undefeated season this year. Look for Oklahoma to get up for this gamein a big way and likely beat Baylor by double-digits as Oklahoma will beextremely physical at home and wants to see massive revenge from last year'sloss as they have been waiting for this game.

                3-UnitPlay. #134 Take Over 51 Duke vs. Syracuse (Saturday @ 12:30pm est)

Syracuseshould be a fantastic active underdog here against Duke at home and we willtake the Over due to that. Note that Syracuse faces a Duke team that comes offa huge win on the road against Pittsburgh and this is a classic let down spotas that is a win that though Duke will cherish should not have been theirs asthe Pitt kicker missed a chippy near the end of that game that should have putthe nail in the coffin as Pitt was coming off a brutal loss to Georgia Tech athome. So now Duke sits at 7-1 miraculously and a top 20 team as they face aSyracuse team on the road who thrives on the underdog role as they have allyear. Syracuse comes off a tough loss to NC State and looks to bounce-back hereas there is no better way to bounce-back then to beat a top 25 team to boostyour resume and send this team to 4 wins on the year with other games on thehorizon. Note there is no recent meetings between these two teams either andthey would each love history to treat them right in their opening contestagainst each other as well. The Over is 4-1 for the Devils after allowing 40points in their previous game and the Over is 8-2 for the Orange after accumulatingless than a 100 yards rushing in their previous game. Look for this to be avery faced paced contest and likely go over.

                3-UnitPlay. #152 Take Under 52 West Virginia vs. Texas (Saturday @ 3:30pm)

Theconverse of a faced paced game will be a slow paced game for the West Virginiavs. Texas tile on Saturday afternoon. Texas is a phenomenal defensive team andthough Charlie Strong might not get them to a bowl game this year, the fact isthat this team is headed in the right direction if the Texas fan base has somepatience. Next year this team will not only have a year underneath Strong'sbelt but they likely thrive off multiple games of revenge as well. As highpotent as the West Virginia offense is, it has gone under the radar that thelast 5 contests for West Virginia have gone under the posted total. And Texasis 6-1 in their last 7 games when they face a team with a winning road recordat home meaning that when they face cream of the crop or elite teams at home, they likely go under the posted total such as the Baylor game as Texas reliesheavily on their defense to carry the day as that is Coach Strong's strongsuit. Texas has the 9th rated defense in the nation and West Virginia has avery underrated top 30 defense as well. Look for this contest to hit the mid tohigh 40's but not into the 50's as this contest likely goes under.

3-UnitPlay. #160 Take Auburn -22.5 over Texas A&M (Saturday @ 3:30pm est) (Youwill want to try to grab this early)

Havinggrown up in the Auburn and Alabama rivalry if Alabama beats you by a widemargin and you face Auburn as well, you are likely to get blown out again. These two compare anything and everything to each other and if Alabama routedthis team by a score of 59-0 imagine what Auburn would like to do to this team. And Auburn is acutely aware of needing quality wins to make sure that ifanything were to happen down the line that they are still secured as per theplayoffs as they still have Georgia and Alabama on the horizon. With theirsecondary quarterback Kyle Allen, A&M really struggled in their last gamein a game they should have played much better coming off getting shutout androuted by Alabama. But, they did not play that well and now face an Auburn teamthat is ranked #1 in most power rankings and #8 in most defensive polls as wellas they are comparable to the Alabama defense who is ranked #2 overall. Auburnis also likely a bit irritated at many in the media calling them lucky due toTreadwell's fumble late and this is a great spot for them to take out theiranger out on a SEC west foe and rout them here as well. With a youngquarterback or a quarterback who has had many disciplinary issues, they face avery focused Auburn team here who very well could rout them by 30 or more inwhat continues to be a long season for Coach Sumlin but one that will get muchbetter next year with experienced quarterback play.

3-UnitPlay. #187 Take Under 57 Michigan State vs. Ohio State (Saturday @ 8pm est)(You can wait on this line as it will rise as the public is on the Over fairlyheavily)

Thesetwo rivals on a primetime night game set up nicely for an Under here. OhioState has been waiting for this game for who knows how long as they have hadthis game marked for ages after getting routed the last time these two teamshooked up. These two teams are the best that the Big10 offer here in MichiganState vs. Ohio State and for them too hook in a classic tilt on Saturday withthe nation's eyes watching means one thing, its likely to go Under. Note, thatOhio State would have made an incredible amount of changes from last year'sloss to avoid giving up nearly 40 points to Michigan State in what was acomplete rout. Mike D'Antoni is a defensive coach by nature as he comes fromthe Nick Saban Coaching Tree and he looks to have a top 10 defense shut downOhio State's high potent offense and with OSU looking to get revenge and allreports indicating making the necessary changes from last year's blowout loss, look for this contest to be much more lower scoring than most people figure.Though many trends point to the Over, at the end of the day, this is going tobe a highly competitive and hard hitting game that is likely to come down tofield position and one or two plays near the end, this is not likely to becloser to the high 50's range as we have this contest more in the tune of 27-24as it likely drops in the low 50's and dips under the posted total.

                3-UnitPlay #136 Take Vanderiblt +14.5 over Florida (Saturday @ 7:30pm)

Vanderiblthas quietly one of the best ATS teams in the nation this year. Yes, Vanderbilt. We love ugly underdogs and we love ugly underdogs even more in collegebasketball as we take great pride in uglier the dog the more we like them. Suchis the case here as you have a Vanderbilt team that plays Florida in primetimeFootball at home in a night game. If Vanderbilt can hang tough against SouthCarolina and give them all they can handle then why not Florida? Sure Floridabeat Georgia recently in the biggest Tailgate party in the country, but havingsaid that, Florida should not have won that game by any means except for thefact that Georgia got psyched out and basically chocked. Georgia fans arefurious over Mark Richt's handlling of the team as there is no reason why theUniversity of Georgia should not have a true pocket passer that can have theability to spread the ball around as there offense is greatly limited by areliance on a strong running game that took a hit when Gurley went out. Perthis game, Vanderbilt has now covered 5 of their last 6 and 4 straightconference games to boot. With Florida coming off such a big win, this teamlikely will not handle that success well and with Vanderbilt relying on theircompetent defense, look for this to be a low scoring affair that likely sees Vanderbilt finding its way inside the number.

Game of the Day: Ohio State at Michigan State

Ohio State Buckeyes at Michigan State Spartans (-3.5, 56)

The biggest game of the year in the Big Ten is set to take place Saturday night when No. 6 Michigan State hosts No. 11 Ohio State, putting the winner on course for a berth in the Big Ten Championship game. The Buckeyes have won 20 consecutive regular-season conference games and the Spartans 13, but Michigan State still holds bragging rights thanks to its 34-24 win against Ohio State in last season’s Big Ten title game. The victory erased a nation-leading 24-game winning streak by the Buckeyes.

Rain and temperatures in the low 40s are forecasted for Saturday night in East Lansing and if that holds true, the team with the better ground game could have the edge. Michigan State is led by running back Jeremy Langford, who has rushed for 841 yards and 10 touchdowns and comes in with five straight 100-yard rushing efforts. Ohio State is sturdy against the run, however, allowing 118.6 rushing yards per game - 18th in the FBS.

TV: 8 p.m. ET, ABC. LINE: Michigan State -3.5

LINE HISTORY: The line opened at MSU -3.5 and has yet to move from that point. The opening total of 58.5 has dropped to 56 as of Friday afternoon.

INJURY REPORT: Ohio State - CB Armani Reeves (Doub-Head) Michigan State - LB Mylan Hicks (Prob-Arm), DL James Kittredge (Ques, Lower body)

WEATHER REPORT: Rain is expected to fall throughout the game, but it is not suppose to amount to much. The game will also be played in cold weather as temperatures will sit around the 37°F.

WHAT CAPPERS SAY: "The Buckeyes lost at home to the Spartans last year, and they have a chance to avenge that loss this week. The Spartans are still the front-runner to win the Big-10, and a dark horse playoff contender." - Jesse Shule

WHAT BOOKS SAY: "The winner is firmly in the driver's seat to win the Big Ten and qualify for the playoff. We opened this game at Michigan State -2 with some juice. Sharps moved the spread moved to -3.5 within the first hour, and that's what we're currently dealing. The public has followed as we have around 70 percent of our handle on the home team. The under has been hammered by both parties as well, dropping from 63.5 to 56. We'd love to see Ohio State win a shootout, but as I said before, I think the Sparties come out on top." - John Lester, Senior Lines Manager.

ABOUT OHIO STATE (7-1 SU, 7-1 ATS, 7-1 O/U): Ezekiel Elliott continues to be No. 1 on the depth chart at running back for the Buckeyes, but freshman Curtis Samuel has put his name in the hat as a viable No. 2 option and possibly more. He didn’t get a carry in a double-overtime win against Penn State two weeks ago but was handed the ball nine times last weekend against Illinois and came through with 63 yards and two touchdowns. J.T. Barrett continues to improve at quarterback, totaling 20 touchdown passes and three interceptions in the last six games - all victories.

ABOUT MICHIGAN STATE (7-1 SU, 7-1 ATS, 7-1 O/U): The Spartans did not play last week, which gave them a few extra days to relish their 35-11 victory against Michigan on Oct. 25. During the break, quarterback Connor Cook divulged that he planned to return for his senior year next season, eliciting a sigh of relief from Michigan State fans. That’s not such good news for Ohio State, which was torched by Cook's 304 passing yards and three touchdowns in last season’s title game.

                            TRENDS:

*Spartans are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games.
*Over is 13-3 in Buckeyes last 16 vs. a team with a winning record.
*Over is 9-1 in Spartans last 10 games overall.
*Road team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
