Reason: A pair of good teams meet from this conference – but only one plays defense. East Carolina has it all on offense, including a dynamite QB, but this defense is also terrific, 38th in the nation allowing 23 ppg. They come off their first loss since losing to an SEC team, but that was just a bad game and they will bounce back. They actually should have beaten Temple but kept coughing it up at the goal line. The Pirates are 11-0 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss. Cincy has a strong offense but a bad defense allowing 29.8 ppg. This week the Bills will head to Miami to enjoy some sun while they take on one of the most surprising teams in the AFC. The Dolphins have a rock solid defense and an offense that has been revitalized by the play of Ryan Tannehill. The Bills will elect to try and control the pace of the game by keeping the ball in the hands of their backs. But most are injured. The Dolphins will run more of the pistol formation behind the strong legs of Ryan Tannehill. They'll also try and spread the field with Mike Wallace and rookie Jarvis Landry. Running back Lamar Miller will be trying to come back from injury, as well. Looks like a grind it out AFC East close divisional battle here. Both the Bills and Dolphins are dreaming about playoffs and a win here would be big advantage to winner. Defense is the name of the game for both of these teams as both offenses sputter trying to face-off against these stellar defensive units.
