In the last few weeks the Sharks have losses against Florida (4-1), Buffalo (2-1), and Columbus (5-4). These are some of the worst teams in the league. Now they’ll take on a Tampa Bay team that has a SRS (goal differential adjusted for strength of schedule) rating of 1.0, the same rating as the Chicago Blackhawks, the 2nd ranked team in all of NHL. San Jose actually played @ Chicago a few games back and the Hawks were listed as a -170 home favorite. Today, Tampa is only at -145. I know the Sharks were on a b2b in the game @ Chicago, but still, that does not explain the full 25-cent difference between the two. Tampa is coming off a loss, their 5th loss this season. This team has NOT had two consecutive losses yet, and has bounced back to beat their four opponents by a combined margin of 20-7, following a loss. Sharks are in a middle of a very long 7-game road trip, and I like Tampa chances of bouncing back at home.

A premier game tonight as the two of the better Eastern Conference teams square off in this one. As of right now, both teams will be at full strength. The key here could be Chicago’s ability to shoot the ball (52.5% eFG%, #6) versus Toronto’s D (allowing 51.8% eFG%-a, #23). In addition, Toronto is a pretty mediocre rebounding team. That’s a factor in Chicago’s favor, who themselves have really struggled on the boards this season. Bulls playing with all key players in the lineup only for the 2nd time this year, so their so-so performances so far this season shouldn’t hold as much weight. I think we’ll see two strong teams tonight but I believe Chicago is a better overall squad.

Good afternoon guys, sometimes you feel that you pick the right side, and so did i this morning when i picked the CIncinnati Bearcats OUTRIGHT to beat the East Carolina Pirates

the Pirates didnt looked good for weeks even they showed a good winning record, the loss to Temple last week was only a consequence, already agains SMU they looked very pathetic in the second half,also against South Florida and Connecticut where they won they didnt looked very convincing, some silly turnovers and their so called high octane offense were anything near that what they were in their first games,East Carolina is clearly on a down swing

Connecticut on the other hand looked very good on offense at Tulane ,Munchie Legaux is getting better and better,Cincinnati won really easy at Tulane,and if you compare both teams in their games to SMU ? the Bearcats clearly looked better, I dont think i am that wrong on this, the momentum is clearly in the favour of the Bearcats

This is a big spot for the Raptors. Toronto has started the season off with a great 7-1 S.U. record, but now they are playing the primetime 8 p.m., TNT game. I see the public jumping all over Chicago as a dog, but I just don't see them going in to Toronto in this game, with this atmosphere and covering this line. The Raptors are going to win this game by 7-10 points. Chicago has not been as good as advertised at the window this season. The Bulls are just 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games versus the Eastern Conference, and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Raptors meanwhile are 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 games versus the NBA's Central Division, 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, and 7-0 ATS in their last seven home games versus a team with a winning road record. This Raptors team is good and after their big win tonight, over a team that many think will challenge for the Eastern Conference crown, people will start to take notice.
