6-Unit Play. #522 Take Penn State (-5.5) over Akron (7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Novembr 25) Our Game of the month centers around two teams and their respective star players. Our squad has its best player in Penn State's D.J. Newbill doing big things. The other is Akron with its best player Demeterius Treadwell suspended, and his absence is going to be a bigger impact on this game than the line suggests. The Zips already have to adapt this season minus their two other top scorers from 2013, and without Treadwell, Akron really lacks a solid scoring punch individually. Penn State, however, has that. D.J. Newbill is one of the best scorers in the Big Ten, is off to a great start to 2014 and is one of four returning starters for the Nittany Lions. At 4-1 to begin the year, Penn State's lone loss was a double OT result to a Charlotte team playing really well. I think Penn State, considering the absence of Akron's main player, are the superior team and a much stronger squad scoring the basketball. So far on the year, Penn State has been scoring on average in the mid 70s. Akron has struggled to get over the 60s without their full roster to rely upon. Big Ten over MAC minus the number. 3-Unit Play. #540 Take Evansvile (+3) over Green Bay (6 p.m., Tuesday, November 25) Evansville is a super talented team that the common college hoops fan won't catch on until the spring. All five starters return for the Purple Aces. They really came on at times last season, and this campaign they are much better equipped at establishing themselves as a mid-major threat over the course of the season. Green Bay graduated 7-0 center Alec Brown, and I really question the Horizon team's consistency early in the year minus their proven low post star. Take the points as I think Evansville wins out as a small dog. 3-Unit Play. #568 VCU (-5) over Oregon (7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 25) The Rams were on the other end of a statement game yesterday against Villanova. It's bounce back time today. There hasn't been many D-I programs more consistent or proven winners over the past three or four years as VCU, and thus this is a team you can count on to respond after a loss like they had yesterday. I am also not sold on Oregon and think this is a good line-up to face. The balance of the Rams plus their pressure will create for the game we want here. VCU by eight. 3-Unit Play. #570 Take Villanova (-4) over Michigan (10 p.m., Tuesday, November 25) This is not an overreaction to 'Nova's impressive win against VCU yesterday, merely me thinking that Michigan is not as good as this line is suggesting. I think its very possible to see another double-digit victory by Jay Wright's talented 'Cats here. Michigan, for me, just does not have proven scorers who are leaders in the offensive department. Villanova is a team looking to continue their statement from Monday, and we will lay the number with them as they cash again in NYC.

3 Unit Play Take # 'under' 203.5 Sacramento/New Orleans (8:05pm est):
Any time a team loses it's pont guard it's always a good idea to look to bet 'under' against them their next few games as the betting markets will tend to be slow to react to this big news. We have a great example of that here in this one as the Hornets come into this having lost Eric Gordon which should be a big loss.
These two teams faced off a week ago and that game was lined right around this number at 204. It did make it above that but just barely as the final score hit 206 points in the game.
