The last two times these two teams have played they had 250 total points and 241 total points and have gone way 'over'. I think that this one will be more of the same. The Warriors have scored over 100 points in six of their last seven games. They have one of the best offenses in the NBA and they are one of the hottest teams in the league right now. The Timberwolves are not a strong defensive team and they are No. 29 in points allowed per game. They are No. 30 in field goal defense and the Warriors should have no problem. The Warriors are 17-2 on the season and they are on fire. The 'over' is 7-3 in Minnesota's last 10 games and 3-1 in their last four games. Take the 'over'.

This is the second game of a home-and-home. And these two teams are playing each other on back-to-back nights. The Celtics won 101-93 over the Wizards yesterday and Washington was sloppy. I d not think that changing arenas is going to make a 20-point difference in the score. I think Washington has a really good chance of winning this game. But I don't think that they are going to get a blowout. The Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last four games. They have only been blown out twice in the last 10 games and that was against San Antonio and Memphis. This Boston team is playing better in the second year under Brad Stevens. I think they will make it tough on the Wizards again today.Comment

The Hawks are riding a 6 game winning streak and nobody has noticed that they have tied Washington for the second best record in the East at 13-6. Atlanta has certainly used its favorable schedule to bolster their confidence during their 6 game run winning all 6 of these games against teams with losing records. Scheduling isn't everything because the Hawks still had to go out and play these games. They also have played very good defense over this stretch giving up over 100 only 4 times in the last 8 games. If Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague continue their level of play they will find themselves representing the East come February for the All-Star break. Indiana is struggling having lost 4 in a row and 5 of 6. They had a heartbreaker on Friday against Sacramento losing in OT on a tip in. The Pacers play hard each game and will certainly put up a fight for the home crowd but Atlanta is going to be too much for them tonight. The Hawks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and these trends should continue this evening. Hawks are flying high right now so take advantage and eat up the 1 point gift.

Denver has hit a wall. After putting together an eight-game stretch (won 7 of 8) of good basketball they have went back to their early season ways. They played well enough to win against Portland Tuesday before losing 105-103 then did not show up at all this weekend getting run out of Washington and Atlanta. This is their 3rd game in 4 days and will be looking to get back to the Mile high city as soon as possible. Toronto can really score. They average 108.8 points per game and have failed to score over 100 only once (96). They are 15-5 and look like a legit contender to the Eastern Conference throne but a trip to meet up with the Cavs is lurking around the corner tomorrow so this is a look ahead spot for Canada's finest. Both teams have plenty of distractions tonight and the under is 3-0-1 in Nuggets last 4 and 6-1-1 in their last 8 road tilts. 216 is too many points for these two teams and while the Raps will most likely score over 100 again Denver has an empty tank and will fall short. This should be a sloppy affair from the get go and the Nuggets should give enough of an effort to keep it close so take the 9 points and Denver. Canada 102-97.Comment
