The New York Crew has its 50 Dime play on the Oklahoma City Thunder at home against Cleveland. OKC is -2 1/2 to -3 at the majority of books I've checked as of 11:40 AM Eastern as I put my site live.
717 Idaho 2.0 (-110) Bookmaker.com vs 718 Western Ill.
Analysis: I'll throw a marble against the team (again) that screwed us on day one with the OT loss to Pacific. Western Illinois, other than to NR teams or an overtime game, has not scored more than 64 points in a game. They've picked up the pace under new coach Billy Wright, but he's trying to do it with Jim Molinari's recruits/players. The result has been a sickly offense that gets too many shots blocked and can't rebound, and a defense that doesn't create turnovers. Not to mention a 65% FT shooting team. This is Idaho's fourth true road game already. They just beat Washington State on the road, then came home to beat UC Davis. They played Boise State tough on the road. Bottom line is that although the Vandals are certainly not top 100 material, Western shouldn't be favored over too many teams this season. Idaho plays fast, and the one thing they CAN do is score. They've managed at least 71 points in every game but one this season, they do get to the line some, and shot almost 70%. They're fairly experience with a SR PG which is important to me on the road. Western is slightly bigger on the perimeter, but inside it's pretty much a toss-up, so there's just too many ways Idaho can win here, IMO. It's entirely possibly this line could get better, so I'll put it out there now for you to ponder.
4 Unit Play. #301/#701 Take Arizona Cardinals +6 over St. Louis Rams (Thursday 8:25 pm NFL Network) Everybody has been drinking the St. Louis cool aid of late as despite being 10-3 on the season the Redbirds enter this game as a sizeable underdog. The points will come into play tonight as in the Cardinals 10 wins they are allowing just 13.5 points per game. Arizona exploded in the second half in the first meeting, winning by 17 points. QB Drew Stanton did play in that game, and he will put some points up in this game as well. Arizona is 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games against NFC teams. St. Louis is 3-9 ATS (1 push) in their last 13 games played during Week 15.
