The Washington Wizards have started off their season at 15-6 overall but don't be fooled by this record as the Wizards have played the 2nd easiest schedule in the league so far. They have played just 5 games this year against teams who are above .500 right now and are just 1-4 in those 5 contests while being outscored by an average of 8 points per game. That lone win came over a Cleveland Cavaliers team who were in a big let down spot after LeBron James had just played a revenge type game for him against San Antonio in their previous game before playing against these Wizards. Washington's recent hot stretch of 6-1 in their last 7 games all came against teams who currently have a losing record this year. They've also faced just 4 teams from the much tougher Western Conference in their first 21 games this season and no team outside of Atlanta with five is even close to that low of a number of Western Conference foes played. The Wizards also have played in and won back to back very close games in their last two games, beating Boston by 1 point in double overtime then coming back in their next game and storming back in the 4th quarter to beat Orlando on a game winning basket at the buzzer. NBA teams tend to have a let down in their next game after having won two straight very tight games.

The Los Angeles Clippers are red hot right now, winners of 9 straight games overall coming into this one. Not only are the Clippers winning but their doing so in impressive fashion as their average margin of victory has been by over 15 points per game during this streak and only one of those eight games has been closer than 6 points. The Western Conference also carries a tremendous edge over the East this season and especially so in low spread games like this one here as one would be very profitable again this season if they would have blindly bet the Western Conference in all of these head to head match-ups with the East in low spread games so far this year. The Clippers have played 7 games thus far against the East and are 6-1 overall this year with their lone loss coming against arguably the best team in the East, the Chicago Bulls. The Clippers have also been one of the better teams in the NBA away from home this season with a very strong 8-2 record in road games.
