3-Unit Play. Take #705 New Orleans (-1.5) over Indiana (7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23)
New Orleans won its last game by over 40 points! They could do it again here! Indiana has won just twice this month. They are one of the worst teams in basketball. The Pelicans have won three of their last four and beaten three decent teams. The only losses they have in the last few weeks are to Portland, Golden State and Dallas. They are playing better in the tough Western Conference and this team is 7-2 ATS in its last nine games.
4-Unit Play. Take #718 Milwaukee (-5.5) over Charlotte (8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23)
The Bucks have covered three straight games without Jabari Parker. In fact Milwaukee has been one of the best ATS bets in the NBA this season. This team is underrated. I collected with the Bobcats in a blowout win last night. But they were playing a beat-up Denver team. That won't be the case here. I think Charlotte's ATS win streak will come to an end and they will fall on the road today. Lay the points.
2-Unit Play. Take #703 Chicago (+3) over Washington (7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23)
I have been betting on the Wizards a lot lately. And cleaning up. Now I am going the other way. The Bulls had a great comeback win over Toronto yesterday. That momentum will carry over. The Bulls are always a strong bet in the underdog role. And they want to show that they are the best team in the East. Chicago is very motivated for this game and I think they are the better team. Look for an outright winner here.
Wyoming (10-2) comes into this game with a 9 point win already vs. Montana St (3-8). The Cowboys rank 3rd in the nation in pts allowed giving up only 49.8 and are allowing teams to only shoot 38%. That’s not good news for the Bobcats who only average 62.9 ppg and shoot only 38.5%. The Cowboys on the other hand shoot it at over 50% and only score 63 ppg themselves. We see the Cowboys really smothering the Bobcats offense and getting some transition baskets as they are averaging over 16 assists per game. We know Wyoming is better at home and this is only their third road game, but this is a veteran Cowboy squad we think will get it done here. The Sharps say…
