6 Unit Play Take #805 Detroit -1.5 over Indiana (7:05pm est):
The Detroit Pistons have been on quite a roll since the release of Josh Smith, winning 9 of their 11 games overall. They've won 7 of those 9 games by double digits and the other 2 victories came on the road against two very good teams, San Antonio and Toronto. Head coach Stan Van Gundy has been happy with the recent turnaround but he was very upset after Detroit's last game as the Pistons were badly outplayed at home by New Orleans losing by a 105-94 score. Van Gundy spoke about how he felt the Pistons didn't bring enough energy to that game and he was right as evidenced by only 3 offensive rebounds in the game for Detroit. He benched young star Andre Drummond midway thru the 3rd quarter and called out him afterwards for his overall drop off in play in the last 4 games. Detroit really seems to be playing with much better focus and intensity in their road games during this recent red hot run as their 6-0 away from home and have impressive wins over good teams Toronto, Dallas and San Antonio to go along with the 3 other victories which came by an average of 20 points per win.
The Indiana Pacers George Hill finally made his season debut back on December 23rd and played in 5 games before going down again with another injury. With Hill back in their lineup the Pacers not only went 3-2 overall but they also covered the spread in 4 of those 5 games and overall just looked like a much better team with him on the floor. With Hill back out again things seem to be falling apart for Indiana as they have dropped their last two games to lowly Philadelphia along with a loss last game at home as double digit favorites to Minnesota.
We have two teams playing a couple levels apart right now. The better squad should come into this game with extreme focus after being called out after their last game. Though it was a poor effort versus New Orleans, Anthony Davis can make a lot of guys look like their not trying. Overall we still have a Pistons team that looks razor sharp right now. Take Detroit here in this one. Big weekend of betting action kicks off tomorrow with couple plays in CBB, a sport I have been hitting close to 60 pct winners on the last 6 weeks. No one has more success than I do when it comes to college hoops action.

Play on home teams vs. the money line revenging a straight up loss vs opponent as a favorite, off an upset loss as a home favorite of 10 points or more. This trend is a remarkable 25-1 since 1996. The Sharps say…
