Mike Singletary has increased their confidence all around.
They have been much more competitive their last 4 games.
This is their only home game during a 5 week span.
The Jets are weary flying cross country for their 3rd time in 4 weeks,
and come in off a 34-17 home 1oss to Denver.
Favre was 23-for-43 for 247 yards, but threw an interception and no touchdowns.
Defensively, the Jets gave up 27 first-half points and 484 total yards - the second-most yards against them this season.
Jets have held only 2 QB to under 243 yards passing.

You would be surprised how many winners we've had in this position.
The NE defensive unit has struggled the past few weeks, as New England has given up an average of 31.7 points in the last three games, losing two of them. After Miami racked up 326 passing yards in the previous game, the Steelers ran for 161.Comment

Play on New England at 4:15 ET. The Seattle Seahawks sure are giving Mike Holmgren one heck of a send-off, no? This pathetic team is 2-10 and there is no longer a homefield edge in the Pacific Northwest as they are just 1-5 SU at Qwest Field, going 1-4-1 ATS. They are equally as bad on both sides of the ball. The defense can't rush the passer nor can they stop the pass. Here is a frightnening statistic. DE Patrick Kearney is tied for the team lead in sacks with five despite the fact he has not played in five games and is out for the season. The secondary ranks next to last in the league in passing yards allowed. They have allowed 19 TD Passes. The offense has failed to gain 300+ yards in eight of the previous nine games. They are just 0-8 ATS vs. teams that average at least 24 PPG. New England averages 23 for the year, but 24 on the road. They come off a terrible home loss to the Steelers. They have yet to lose back-to-back games. Prior to the Pittsburgh loss, they had rolled up 510 total yards of offense in two games. Seattle can't stop Matt Cassel and Randy Moss. New England is our 25* Non-Conference Game of the Year.Comment
