4-Unit Play #802 Take Charlotte -1 over Chicago (7 p.m. EST, Friday) Going against the public in this one and we think that the Hornets will win this one going away. The Bulls have lost three of their last four and then they needed OT to beat the lowly Sixers. This team is dealing with a lot of injuries and it is starting to show on the court. The Hornets lost Al Jefferson but they now have Kemba Walker back, and he is their best player and will really give the team a boost heading down the stretch run. After two straight losses the public gets down on this Hornets team but they do not do the same thing with Chicago, and that has created line value here tonight.
3-Unit Play #804 Take Philadelphia +4 over Sacramento (7 p.m. EST, Friday) Sacramento laying points on the road? No thanks. This team should not be laying points on the road and you always have to pay attention to the team they are facing when that happens. The Sixers are playing really hard lately and playing with a lot of pride. The Kings are the exact opposite. They have a lot of talent but have been slogging through the season after a strong first month and they rarely give half the effort the Sixers have been putting forth on a nightly basis. The Sixers recently beat Atlanta and they took the Bulls and Thunder to OT. They have a great chance for the straight up win here.
4-Unit Play #806 Take Boston -5.5 over Orlando (7:30 p.m. EST, Friday) The home team has covered the last six meetings in this series, and we don’t think that trend will stop on Friday. The Celtics are playing very well right now. They have won four of their last five overall. They have failed to cover in only four of their last 17 games (one push). We thought this line would and should be over 7, so we think there is some nice value here for the home favorite. Boston pretty much plays hard every night and you can’t say the same thing for the Magic and we think the Celtics want this game after losing the last two in this series in Orlando.
4-Unit Play #809 Take Minnesota +10 over Oklahoma City (8 p.m. EST, Friday) The Wolves have covered in their last two games in OKC, both losses but coming within double digits, and we see the same kind of game here tonight. You know that the Wolves really get up for the games in this series and want to play well. Andrew Wiggins should have a great game tonight and the Wolves should have most of their key players. If Durant was in this game then we could justify this line for OKC, but with no Durant we think that this is an inflated line and that the Wolves will play hard all game and we expect this to be a pretty close one.
4-Unit Play #812 Take Dallas -2.5 over LA Clippers (8:30 p.m. EST, Friday)
3-Unit Play #811 Take LA Clippers/Dallas OVER 202.5 (8:30 p.m. EST, Friday) The Clippers destroyed the Mavericks last time out and we think they get revenge here tonight in a high-scoring affair that pits two of the stronger offenses in the league against each other tonight. We got some line value here because the Clippers whooped the Thunder last time out. But just as this team can look like a monster one game they can come back to earth the next with a shoddy performance. And they are vulnerable here tonight, especially their defense which can’t seem to put two strong games together. Dallas is in a great revenge spot here and we think both teams will get over the century mark on Friday.
5-Unit Play #815 Take Atlanta -6 over Phoenix (10 p.m. EST, Friday) The Suns are just not playing well lately. They have scored a few wins lately, but those have come against some bad teams. They have lost by double-digits in their last four against stronger teams. And this team made some questionable moves at the trade deadline and that has really hurt the morale of this young team. Atlanta is playing with a lot of confidence and they have all season. This team does not take many nights off and they treat every game like a playoff game. We don’t see any reason they can’t win this one by double-digits, and we are getting a great line here tonight because the Hawks are the road team, but the Suns have not had much of a home-court advantage recently anyways.

2-unit Play Take #1 Dallas Stars (+165) over Washington Capitals (7:05pm EST) The Dallas Stars haven’t quite given up on a chance at the postseason. They’ve won four out of five games and are currently seven points out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. They head into Washington tonight to take on the Capitals in a big game for both teams. The Caps are hanging on to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but they aren’t playing very well at the moment. They are just 3-5-0 in their last eight contests and have had some huge defensive lapses over the last couple of weeks. The Stars have owned the Metropolitan division this season, going 10-3-1 in their 14 meetings. They are the better team right now and I’m surprised to see such a big underdog price tag on Dallas.
