4-Unit Play. Take #517 Michigan State (-4) over Maryland (3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 14) The Spartans have won three in a row and won easily over Ohio State last night. March is Tom Izzo’s month. And once again he has his team playing its best basketball this time of the year. The Spartans are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games and they have revenge over Maryland. The Terps swept the Spartans during the regular season. It is tough to beat the same team three times in one year. Michigan State is very motivated in this one and they won’t let the Spartans beat them three times. Maryland is the newcomer into the Big Ten and I don’t see them making it to the finals in their first attempt.

3-Unit Play. Take #528 Georgia State (-5.5) over UL-Lafayette (2 p.m., Saturday, March 14) I will go with the Panthers in this one. They are the top seed for a reason. Georgia State is the best team in this league and they are focused on winning this tournament and getting to the NCAA Tournament. They lost to UL-Lafayette in overtime in the championship game last year and that kept them out of the tournament. They will remember that game and will want revenge. Lafayette has the advantage of playing near home. That is a big edge in this game. But Georgia State is still favored in this one and it is because they are the much stronger team. The Panthers beat one of the conference’s best teams in UL-Monroe on the road just last week. They are 6-2 SU in their last eight conference road games and they will be able to overcome that tonight in a big win.

4-Unit Play #502 Take Indiana -8.5 over Boston (7 p.m. EST Saturday) The Celtics are on a back-to-back here, and they have to travel here on the road and that makes it real tough for the visiting team tonight. We think Indiana has a clear edge here over what the oddsmakers posted the line at for tonight. The Pacers are in playoff form right now and are playing some of the best basketball in the league. We think this is a bad spot for the Celtics and the Pacers defense should be dominant tonight against a road-weary Celtics team. The C’s used a lot of energy on Friday in their big comeback in the final minutes and we think they pay the price tonight with a flat effort against the Pacers.

3-Unit Play #503 Take Sacramento +9 over Washington (7 p.m. EST Saturday) Big favorite is just not a good spot for the Wizards. This team is just 9-15 ATS this season as a favorite of more than 5 points. This is one of the worst betting teams in the league this season and you just always have to look to play against them when they are laying big points like this. The Kings had an ugly second half last night against the Sixers and will probably put together a more complete four quarters tonight to keep this game within double digits.

3-Unit Play #505 Take Brooklyn -6.5 over Philadelphia (7:30 p.m. EST Saturday) The NBA is all about value and we see some tonight in the Nets, who have not played well lately. Philly has been playing well, but they come in on a back-to-back tonight after a real tough come-from-behind win on Friday and this will be a tough spot for them against a Brooklyn team desperate for a win. The Sixers play hard a lot lately, but after their heroics last night you can expect a poor effort on Saturday and the Nets really need a win tonight.

7-Unit Play #508 Take Memphis -6 over Milwaukee (8 p.m. EST, Saturday) The Grizzlies rested most of their important players on Thursday at Washington. They got smoked in that game. This team is very focused, and they did not make that move for nothing. Resting all those key players has to pay dividends, and since they sacrificed that game on Thursday we think they come out like gangbusters tonight. This will be the Bucks third game in four nights and even though they don’t come in on a back-to-back this is a real tough spot for them. With the Grizzlies sacrificing their Thursday game we had this line handicapped at -9 and think that Memphis scores a double-digit win here at home. Laying under 7 points with the Grizzlies seems to be their sweet spot and we don’t think this will be a close game at all as the Grizzlies should be as focused as we have seen all season tonight and we don’t think this game will be close.

3-Unit Play #511 Take New York +19.5 over Golden State (10:30 p.m. EST, Saturday)

4-Unit Play #511 Take New York/Golden State OVER 201 (10:30 p.m. EST, Saturday) We see this as a fast-paced game and think the Knicks can hang in this one. You have to grab the points in the NBA when you are getting nearly 20 points, and even if this is a blowout we still have a chance to cash this ticket! The Warriors will get well over 100 tonight. But with such a lackluster opponent we don’t think Golden State will play very strong defense and the Knicks will get over 90 here, which will be enough for them to cover and for the total to go over the posted number
