The Redbirds have been hot and have been great as underdogs but have failed to cover 7 of their last 10 as favorites. The Phoenix, on the other hand, have covered 10 of their last 14. In fact, Wiscy GB has beat everybody but Cleveland State and NCAA bound Valperiso over the last two months. Phoenix rise again tonight take Green Bay.Comment

7-Unit Play. #647. Take Stony Brook +2 over Mercer (Thursday @ 7:00pm est) Stony Brook has a great shot at winning this contest outright today and we roll with them here. Note that Stony Brook has a great shot here. A few things here. For starters, Stony Brook is a NCAA Team. They lost on a brilliant shot at the end of the game in a buzzer beater with the Australian young man making the buzzer beater who was almost helped by his mother who was angel it seemed as she passed away from cancer earlier this year. Note that Stony Brook was ahead throughout the game and frankly should have won that game Outright but just fell short and this team is much better than what their current record shows. Note that Stony Brook is a top 130 power ranking team, a top 75 defensive team, a top 25 offensive rebonding team, a team that lost to Albany by just 1 point on the road who is a top 135 team, beating a top 120 Vermont team by a bucket on the road, beating Albany a top 130 team earlier this year, beating Washington, Columbia, Washington, American – all of which are top 200 teams and Washington who is a top 130 team. And note that Mercer to this day has not beat a top 200 team except for Chattanooga at home in overtime – but note that they are 1-5 against teams within the 100-200 range. So we’ll roll with the better team here who has won plenty of contests outright on the road against a tough crowd and atmosphere, who also comes off a tough loss and yet finds itself as a small dog and this is a decent public fade to boot as the line is low for a reason as Stony Brook can very well win Outright as this team has a very competent defense and that likely carries the day for them this evening. We have Stony Brook by 5-9 points here.Comment
