4-Unit Play #501 Take New York/Washington UNDER 191 (7 p.m. EST, Friday)
The Knicks have averaged less than 86 points per game in their last eight, and that average was bumped up with their last game against the Nets where they scored 98. Washington is a pretty good defensive team and we just don't see the Knicks doing anything on offense tonight. We feel pretty confident they will finish around the mid-80s like they have so many times recently. The Wizards are not a great offensive team. They scored 106 last time out against Philly, but they don't often have two straight games scoring over 100 and the only other time in their last eight games they scored over 100 (in regulation) was 101 against the Pacers. 102 is their highest point total against the Knicks in the last eight meetings. We just don't see them going crazy on offense, either, and we think there is a good chance this one goes well under the posted number.


4-Unit Play #505 Take Toronto +2.5 over Brooklyn (7:30 p.m. EST, Friday)

Love this line tonight as we are getting a much better team here and getting points as well. We think the Raptors win this game straight up but the points will serve as an insurance policy in case of a close game. The Raptors are heating up and learning to play without Kyle Lowry and they have won and covered three straight. We had this game handicapped at Toronto -1 so we think the wrong team is favored here tonight.

3-Unit Play #509 Take Oklahoma City/Memphis OVER 205 (8 p.m. EST, Friday)

The Thunder just aren't playing any defense lately and are just relying on offense and pace for their gameplan. This team has given up 130 or more in two of their last four games. They have given up 115 or more in six of their last nine. Memphis is not the kind of team that is going to put up numbers like that, but we have a good feeling both teams can get over the century mark here. Memphis isn't playing its best defense lately. They allowed 103 to San Antonio, 107 to Golden State and 111 to Cleveland in three of their last four games. Five of their last eight opponents have surpassed the century mark. We think that this total is a few points too low tonight.


4-Unit Play #515 Take Denver +13 over San Antonio (8:30 p.m. EST, Friday)

The Spurs have been playing great lately, but we still think that this is too many points tonight. All three meetings this season have been decided by 10 points or less, and the Nuggets came within nine points when these teams last met in San Antonio less than a month ago. The Nuggets have been playing hard lately and have covered more lines than they haven't, Denver is 6-1 ATS this season when getting 10 or more points, and we think they will keep this game within double digits again on Friday. Denver is also 10-2 ATS in their last 12 meetings in San Antonio and they normally play above expectations here.


4-Unit Play #519 Take Portland/LA Lakers OVER 202.5 (10:30 p.m. EST, Friday)

Portland's offense is playing really well lately. They have averaged 117 points per game in their last three games, and now they play one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA tonight at Staples Center. We are pretty confident that the Blazers can have a 110+ type of night here and the Lakers will be able to put up enough points at home to get this one over the posted number. In the Lakers last three games they gave up 100+ to New Orleans, Philly and Brooklyn, so we think the Blazers can pick their own score tonight. Both teams are trending to the over right now, and we think that will be the way this one turns out tonight.
