8-Unit Play. Take #824 Duke (-5.5) over Michigan State (6:10 p.m., Saturday, April 4)
AND
4-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 138.5 Duke vs. Michigan State (6:10 p.m., Saturday, April 4)
I love the Blue Devils in this one and this is my favorite play of the NCAA Tournament. Duke has gone 4-0 ATS in the tournament and they are coming off a big blowout win over a very good Gonzaga team. Michigan State is a No. 7 seed and they are fortunate to have won all for of their games. They needed overtime to beat Louisville and I think they are just happy to be in the Final Four. Duke won't be happy until they claim the title and they are the much better team in this one. These two teams actually met back in November in Cameron Indoor. Duke won by 10 points in that game and covered an eight point spread even though they were starting three freshmen. Those three freshmen are grown up now and this is a much better team overall. The Blue Devils are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games and all of those wins have come by at least six points. Duke has also beaten Michigan State in each of the last four meetings going back to 2010. Coach K. has Tom Izzo's number. I think that Duke is clearly the better team in this one and I don't see an upset at all. I think that Duke is going to win this game by at least 10 points and Michigan State's run is going to come to an end. Lay the points. Play Duke.
4-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 131.5 Wisconsin vs. Kentucky (9 p.m., Saturday, April 4)
I think that this will be a very low-scoring game and defense will be on full display. Kentucky has gotten to this point behind its defense. They will shut down the paint against the Badgers and make Wisconsin shoot from the outside. I think the Badgers are going to slow the game down. They like to take the air out of the ball and they will run the clock down, often using all 35 seconds. They want to shorten this game. I don't see a lot of fast breaking in this one and I don't see a lot of uptempo style. This one will stay 'under'.
