The key components in this matchup are: Motivation and home court advantage. The Warriors are the best team in the NBA heading into the playoffs and they look to prove it in game 1 of this series. The Pelicans were a bit mouthy after they clinched a playoff birth on the last day of the season and I’m sure the Warriors know all about it. Golden State scores points in bunches and they are deep at every position. The Pelicans do not have enough firepower to hang with a motivate Golden State team and that is exactly what you will see today.
