                STRIKE POINT SPORTS (NBA Playoffs)

3-Unit Play. Take #704 Golden State (-12) over New Orleans (3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 18) We aren’t jumping out of our seats just because the playoffs are starting but we do really like the Warriors in this spot. This atmosphere is going to be electric and the early tip time will only help the crowd. There will be people of all shapes, sizes, and ages at this game and the crowd will be rocking and rolling for the Warriors. Golden State is going to win this game by roughly 20-points today and make a statement that the regular season was no fluke. This game has 115-95 written all over it. Golden State ended the regular season on a 9-4 ATS run in their last 13 games versus teams with winning records, and they are 15-2 ATS in their last 17 Quarterfinals games. Look for the Warriors to continue their dominace over New Orleans as they are 4-0 ATS in their last four games versus New Orleans in Golden State.

                  MIKE DAVIS (NBA Playoffs)

7-Unit Play. Take Golden State -12 over New Orleans (Saturday, April 18th at 3:30 p.m.) My spreadsheet has Golden State winning this game by a final score of 120-100. The key components in this matchup are: Motivation and home court advantage. The Warriors are the best team in the NBA heading into the playoffs and they look to prove it in game 1 of this series. The Pelicans were a bit mouthy after they clinched a playoff birth on the last day of the season and I’m sure the Warriors know all about it. Golden State scores points in bunches and they are deep at every position. The Pelicans do not have enough firepower to hang with a motivate Golden State team and that is exactly what you will see today. I look for the Warriors to get off to a quick start and never look back. Take Golden State.
