Take Over 207 San Antonio vs. LA Clippers (Wednesday @ 10:35pm est) We roll with the Over here between these two teams as it is likely to go over the posted total for a variety of reasons the least of which is the fact that San Antonio was held to 92 points in their last contest and it is hard to see a Greg Pop coached team lying down and scoring less than a 100 in their next game. Plus with the short line as it is Vegas indeed expects the Clippers to have an edge here once again or else you would see San Antonio as the favorites. Note that San Antonio has typically bounced back very well after having a lackluster performance scoing wise in the regular season and they have a strong chance of doing well this evening per getting the pace back that they normally are used to. We took the Under yesterday in the Cleveland contest because we understood the changes Coach Brad Stephens would make and that is no different to what Coach Pop will do per his team’s offensive abilities. It is hard to stop the Clippers scoring but the way San Antonio has consistently beaten the Clippers in the past was due to their strong offense and that will be what carries the day for them here. Note the Over is 5-1 for the Spurs coming off a straight up loss and the Over is 7-3 for these two teams in the last 10 meetings and normally we would not take an Over here as the last game on the board, but similar to the Houston/Dallas game we took the Over in the first time around – this will be the opposite pace of Game 1 where it dipped under as this contest likely hits 215 and above this evening for a double-digit differential once again as we look to go a perfect 8-0 with 8* NBA Selections which is a remarkable streak.
