JASON SHARPE – MLB
8 Unit Play Take #920 Cleveland -135 over Minnesota @ (7:10pm est): Don’t let the recent red hot run of the Minnesota Twins fool you as this is still a very bad baseball team. The Twins have taken advantage of having played 17 games already at home this season and are 12-5 there. This one though is on the road where their just 4-8 this season. They face an Indians team here who haven’t lived up to their high expectations yet this year but their bats have started to come alive of late. The Twins go with Mike Pelfrey in this one. Though Pelfrey has increased his velocity this season his control has been bad and the Indians offense is a patient one and hit right–handers very well. Trevor Bauer gets the ball for Cleveland here and though it looks like Bauer hasn’t pitched as well of late keep in mind he was coming off of being sick two starts back and facing a red hot Royals team. @ His velocity was way down for that start versus the Royals but it popped back up again last time out. This guy has excellent stuff as he was the 3rd pick in the 2011 draft. His slider has been sensational so far this season as he’s throwing that pitch much better than last year and it looks like it may have taken him to new heights if he keeps that up. Take Cleveland in this one.
