INDIAN COWBOY – MLB
7-Unit Play. #913. Take Under 8.5 Runs Milwaukee vs. Detroit (Monday @ 7:05pm est) We look for 9 straight winners on the Diamond in what has been an unbelievable MLB Run for us as our hardwork has really come through after a slow start. We are now a fantastic 12-2-1 already in Baseball in the Month of May which speaks volumes and we look to keep rolling with a quality selection today. Per this contest, Fiers really needs a quality effort and given that the Tigers have not faced him this year that is to his advantage. Combine that with Fiers having pitched well this season but just not having picked up the wins due to his team not helping him out – but he has pitched in many unders and his performances are quite stout. Note Fiers gave up 2 runs to the White Sox and 1 run to the Cardinals and the Cubs which is tough to do. His 5 era is stilted due to a poor performance against the Dodgers but his last 3 of 4 starts have been sound.
The line is also low for a reason as the linesmen expect a quality peformance from him today and combine that with Lobstein pitching today after one of his worst starts, makes more sense for the Under as well. Lobstein was roughed up in his last start giving up 6 runs not lasting more than 3 innings against the Twins. Prior to that he had posted 3 of 4 quality starts and has been one of the best in bouncing back this year as his line total looks like follows after a poor start: 3, 1, 3, 4, 0 and 6. In particular, after a loss he has come through with steady unders. Look for Lobstein to pick up a bounce-back effort here and Fiers to also have a quality start as he seeks a win in some time and with both lineups unfamiliar with these pitchers and their respective motivations, this contest likely falls below the posted total this evening.
