Metrics point somewhat to Latos here but only somewhat. Bradley's xFIP/SIERA are high because of his high BB rate and very fortunate BABIP. But not like Latos has been especially effective, and Latos also has a ridiculous 40.7% hard hit rate. But the overriding deal here is that I'm going to simply keep betting against the Marlins, and that's 3-0 already since the managerial change. Sure have no problem with the price, so let's ride the Snakes.

I'm convinced that John Gibbons is very close to getting canned and the Blue Jays are playing bad baseball and showing no life. They're kind of beat up physically to boot. Downside here is that both Smith and Street worked each of the last two games, but they weren't really taxing innings, so both should be available if needed here. Shoemaker is HR prone to be sure, but he's off a good game and hopefully that carries forward. Dickey has been pretty bad, and he's just not missing many bats at all. I am looking to start betting against Toronto every game till Gibbons gets let go, so Angels the play here.
