First time starter on the mound for Texas here with Chi Chi Rodriguez getting called up. He’s well regarded, although his numbers at Round Rock this year are not great. That’s not unusual for young pitchers in the PCL. I’m not sure he’s ready for extended duty in the show yet, but as previously mentioned many times, the pitcher has the edge when the hitters haven’t seen him. The Red Sox continue to awful hitting with men in scoring position, so the big innings are few and far between for this team right now. Wade Miley is a league average guy to me, and he’s not the easiest pitcher to ‘cap because of his inconsistency. Already won once this week with a debuting Rodriguez, I’ll try it again here with the Rangers.Comment
