7-Unit Play. #711. Take Over 194.5 – Golden State vs. Cleveland (Tuesday @ 9pm est)
We roll with the Over here as we expect this to be the first game since Game 1 (which went to overtime) to go over the posted total. With no help from Mozgo or the rest of the team for that matter, the Cavs put up 91 points in their last game. At the end of the day, Lebron has made it clear that he believes he is the MVP of not only this series but has made it abundantly clear that he is the best player in the World. Which is a bit amusing because even Jordan never outwardly came out and said that though he did talk his necessary trash talk on the court and told Reggie Miller at one time that he was Black Jesus.
Miller recently shared the story on Jimmy Kimmel. But per this game, Golden State likely wins here and ends this series tonight covering as well. The line is at 4.5 for a reason as this is the largest State has been favored against Cleveland on the road in this series which says something – and Cleveland is facing elimination. And State likely does it on the offensive end by putting up a quality offensive effort here. Plus, with no Mozgov sighting in the last game, look for him to be much more assertive on the offensive end here, look for Lebron to be assertive from the opening tip as a mad man as he is one of the best performers in an elimination game in Championship History, and consequently look for this game to go over the posted total. Most of the public has caught on to this series and favors the under which is why we actually favor the over here.
Though the series has had an Under tone throughout, note that Cleveland is 3-0-1 to the Over coming off a straight up loss of 10 points or more. Look for Cleveland to be the active underdog, look for this game to finally buck the under trend of this series and look for this contest to finally go over the posted total this evening as Kerr will make it clear to his players – let it fly – they do not want this game going back to Golden State. And State learned a lot from their big win in Game 4 in Cleveland dropping more than a 100 points and will not be afraid here or intimidated. High scoring affair in which Golden State wins Curry/Thompson and company win their first championship tonight.
