Hondo
Hondo bags two beauties
Hondo made a significant move Monday by scoring big-time with the Phillies and Cubs to lower the dirty digits to 1,270 russells — a 14.8 percent reduction of his deficit.
Tuesday night: Mr. Jolo emails to say: “Only one person can help the Mets: You! Please pick their opposing team every game for the rest of the season. That will guarantee a playoff berth.” Always willing to do his part for the good of the Metamucils, Mr. Aitch will test-drive that theory with a 10-unit play on the Brewers. Also, His Aitchness will attack with Zack — 10 on L.A. to humble Hammel.Comment

Now, there's another official system bet happening today on June 22. Here is the MLB system bet for today:
Atlanta {A} bet - This is an official bet. However, there is a possibility that if Atlanta loses one or two times, the RPI difference may ultimately become greater than the .015 RPI difference threshold!
Boston {A} bet - This is an unofficial bet (does not pass RPI filter)
Remember to bet on the +1.5 run line if it is offered, or the money line if it is not offered.
Make sure to observe the following Exterminator system guideline:
In the month of June: Bet normally on all the qualifying bets under the original MLB system. That means risking a flat 5% (conservative), 10% (average), or 15% (aggressive) of your bankroll depending on your risk level on every qualifying {A}, {B}, and {C} bet in the original MLB system. Again, you want to bet that same percentage amount for all the {A}, {B}, and {C} bets that qualified under the original system.
In June, pass on any series where the first game of a rematch series between the 2 teams happens more than 60 days after their most recent game (after the last game of the original 3-game series or the second game of an intermediate confirmatory 2-game series).
Also, please keep in mind the following filters of the system:
- Do not bet on a team whose road record winning percentage is in the bottom 10% in the league if they are playing on the road
- Play is only official if the RPI value of our team is no more than .015 lower than opponent's.
- Play is only official if our team is not playing against a top 2 highest ranked RPI team
Note that the system plays are official only when they pass all the filters above. If they fail to pass any filter, then the play is considered unofficial.Comment

2* Best Bet: Cardinals/Marlins Under 7.5 -115 (Martinez/Urena)
Carlos Martinez is pitching tremendous baseball for the Cardinals lately. He could be very tough on the Marlins, who aside from Dee Gordon, have never had a single AB against him. Jose Urena has been acceptable lately for Miami, and there a bunch of Under tendencies in play here. Expecting Martinez to pitch well again, and will take the gamble Urena can maintain his improving form against a good lineup. Total looks right, but I'll go with the angles and take the Cards/Marlins Under.
2* Best Bet: Athletics -128 (Chavez/Gonzalez)
Jesse Chavez has been pretty unlucky this season. He's been perhaps the most betrayed off all the Oakland starters with that crappy bullpen. But Chavez has rock solid stats and grades out well ahead of Chi Chi Gonzalez. The Rangers rookie has been ultra-fortunate so far since getting called up. This will be Oakland's second look at him though, and I believe Gonzalez won't be fooling guys who now have experience seeing him. Texas pen has been shaky, not as bad as Oakland's but the numbers aren't that far apart. A's are playing their best ball of the season, and the oddsmakers putting this game where it is tells me Oakland is the right side.Comment
