RIVER CITY SHARPS – MLB
Mets TT Over 3.5 (-135) Mets are RED HOT and averaging 6 RPG during their 7-2 run. Hand has been really ineffective in his limited starts this year, rolling a 1-1, 6.17 ERA out there and also is 0-3, 4.35 ERA in his four career starts vs. these Mets. New York’s offense stays red hot tonight and coasts over this number
Yankees TT Over 4.5 (-130) Yanks sporting another sizzling offense, scoring 77 runs over their last nine games! Now they get to face a rookie in Henry Owens, making his MLB debut taking Porcello’s spot. While he was fairly good at Pawtucket, control was a problem and that smells trouble here tonight against the Bronx Bombers
Baltimore Orioles (-115) We like this spot for O’s and Gonzalez, who sports a 3.04 ERA in winning his last four road starts. Bassitt has been a hard luck story for these A’s and that continues tonight
Dodgers/Phillies – Over 8 (-120) Alex Wood gives up plenty of longballs and Jerome Williams gives up plenty of…everything! Phillies offense has been very productive lately, and we know the Dodgers will plate runs. Lots of runs tonight at the Bank!
St. Louis Cardinals (-130) This is a really heated rivalry and both teams don’t like one another. DeSclafani has really struggled at GABP, going just 2-5, 5.69 ERA in his nine home starts. Lackey has proved really tough lately, going 5-2, 1.67 ERA over his last nine starts
Milwaukee Brewers (-120) We know the Padres are playing better baseball, but Jimmy Nelson has been $$$ for the Brew Crew. How about 2-1, 0.99 ERA and 27 K’s over his past four starts, while the Padres trot out Andrew Cashner, who is 0-2, 5.60 ERA over his last six roadies. Gut feeling Brewers score early and often, their TT also worth looking at hard
Detroit Tigers (-110) Verlander is clearly more comfortable with every start and we think he continues that progress tonight, while we are still waiting for a Duffy regression…thinking we may get it tonight at Comerica.
