Chicago White Sox (-107) Gonna take another shot again tonight vs. King Felix, who simply doesn’t look like the same pitcher we are used to. We can point to him getting shelled last out, but he really hasn’t been effective since the AS break, and now faces Sale, who is rolling for the Southsiders. He leads the AL in K’s and think the visitor is the right choice here tonight

Oakland A’s (-119) Smyly has really struggled with the A’s over his career, posting an 0-2, 9.95 mark. Meanwhile, Bassitt’s record doesn’t describe how well he’s pitched for the A’s and we like his chances tonight against this depleted Rays squad

Houston Astros (-121) Fiers has really been solid since his move to Houston, especially in his last two outings, and we think the Astros bats wake up tonight against Anderson and the Dodgers

Marlins – TT Over 4 (-115) Taking a flyer here against the rookie pitcher for the Phils and a Miami offense that has been cranking on all cylinders lately. Could also make a strong case for the game total going over the 8, but we are sticking with the Miami TT.

We roll with these 5 selections on Friday where there is a jam packed schedule of 6 games which is a rarity during the week to get basically every team in the league in action which is exciting. Per our selection today, we roll with New York as they have revenge against Atlanta from an earlier season loss and this is a team that comes off a blowout win in their own right over San Antonio by a score of 73-45 as they quickly bounced-back from the loss at Tulsa which they were favored by 8.5 points and lost outright. Now this team looks to take its revenge out on Atlanta from an earlier season loss on the road. Note, this team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games and Atlanta comes off a nice win against Connecticut but the line is big here for good reason as this is a good public fade and Atlanta likely struggles against a New York defense that is going to be ready for them and not underestimate them this time around. Decent over chance at San Antonio as the Stars will likely be a quality active underdog after scoring sub 50 in their last contest and though Minnesota was blown out in their contest, Minnesota also has an important tilt in their next game so they will likely be looking ahead here. We like the Stars to be active underdogs coming off a terrible loss as this game has a decent shot at going over the posted total. Tulsa has revenge against Connecticut from an earlier season loss to them and this is a much different Tulsa team. Note Tulsa has now beat that has now beat Phoenix and New York in back to back games winning Outright as 8.5 dogs and 4.5 point dogs as well. Now with revenge they face a Connecticut team as they are starting to build confidence and could use this win for seeding in the West. We like Tulsa with revenge here. LA is the better team here over Phoenix which is why they won the last time out and nearly won without Parker at home in overtime prior to that game. As both teams come off a loss, its simple, the matchup between Parker and Griner is what is key and Parker makes all the difference in the world for this team. This is why the line opened up at a modest -6 and quickly moved down to 4.5 We like LA to win this contest Outright here. Finally Indiana comes off a fantastic west coast road trip and notice they are just 5 point favorites here on the road against a Seattle team. It is tough to play in Seattle and it is even tougher to play them when you are looking forward to go home. Seattle is going to be a good active underdog here and Indiana likely lets down on their defense after having a very successful west coast road trip so far as this game likely goes over the posted total this evening as Seattle shows up which is why this line is so low to begin with as frankly Indiana could be favored by -8.5 given how well they have played on this road trip.

Chiefs -3 over Seahawks
These are two teams that have great home field advantage. The preseason really doesn’t matter, but Arrowhead is always a loud and tough place to play. I am not downgrading the Seahawks just yet, but this team has little depth and are already playing musical chairs on the offensive line. Last week they got their 2nd string QB hurt and outside of the first team that might play a quarter there is not much of a threat. The Chiefs might have one of the best backups in the league in Chase Daniel who could be showcasing his talent for a trade which would mean quality players added to this Chiefs roster. The Seahawks are really not a dangerous team with their legion of boom sitting on the sidelines and light work from their top offensive players. Unless the Seahawks open up 21-0 or something of that nature I think the Chiefs will dominate quarters 2,3 and 4. Take Kansas City.
