However, the Rangers finish up the regular season with a nice home stand that starts tonight against the Tigers. The Rangers have been one of the best home teams, winning 23 of their last 30 at home. Their magic number to win the division is now five games. Colby Lewis will look to drop that number to four tonight. Lewis is 17-8 on the season with a 4.36 ERA. Lewis has been very good of late, posting a 1.71 ERA over his last three starts. Justin Verlander will start for the Tigers here. Verlander has had injury issues this season, but still showed flashes of his old self that earned him the 2011 Cy Young. The Rangers are happy to be home where they will clinch their divsion title.
