Maybe the Seahawks have not recovered from last year's final play of the Super Bowl. Maybe they miss their defensive coach, Dan Quinn, who fled to Atlanta. Maybe Coach Carroll's rah-rah is getting old. Maybe the contract negotiations showed how individual this game is as each player focused solely on themselves and not for the good of the team. It's hard to believe that they have lost 4 of their first 6 games so far. Finally, the league is convinced that Russell Wilson is an average QB and his need of a healthy Marshaun Lynch is paramount to the Seahawks winning. Lastly, Seattle has played an extra season of games in just the playoffs alone the last 4 years and that has to be considered. The Seahawks have allowed teams to score the 4th most points in the 4th quarter at 55 points thru 6 games. That's embarrassing when most think of Seattle as a defensive team. The 49ers have been more than respectful playing at home. They defeated Minnesota and Baltimore and played Green Bay really well. Kaepernick has throw 4 touchdowns without and interception the last 2 games. He had over 350 yards of passing vs Baltimore. The Seahawks have no business laying this many points on the road in a conference game where they are rated as just average the past 4 seasons. We should remember that Seattle's only 2 wins were against lowly Detroit and Chicago. Since 1990, only 14 of 168 teams to start 2-4 reached the playoffs and none made it to the Super Bowl. The points are based on past results with a team that hardly resembles its former self. TAKE SAN FRANCISCO
I feel like it's been awhile (maybe even since the first week of the season) that we had a play on the Thursday night game. But we do have a small one tonight...
Seattle @ San Francisco Under 42 This is a 1/2 unit play. That means if you bet $100 a game, this is to win $50Thanks,

UCLA has lost 8 of the last 10 games against the spread when playing in the month of October and they are allowing an average of 41 points on defense in their last three games.
This is a really tough game to pick because Seattle is playing so much worse
than expected this year, and the 49er's looked halfway decent
in their win against the Baltimore Ravens last week.
Seattle is -6.5 on the road where they've struggled.
The Seahawks are in a must win game though
and I guarantee Pete Carrol will get his guys fired up and Seattle
will find a way to win. A touchdown is a lot to win by though
and Thursday night might as well be called "Dog Night"
because dogs have flourished on short weeks.
I think Seattle wins by 3.
