I won big with the Cardinals last week, cashing my 7-Unit NFL Play with them beating Seattle outright. Arizona won that game even though they had two big turnovers that led right to two big Seattle touchdowns to take the lead late. But Arizona is so good they were able to come back and take care of business in one of the toughest stadiums to win in in all of football. Arizona will be even better at home here. Cincinnati is coming off an ugly loss to Houston on Monday Night Football. That was an embarrassing game. And a top team should not lose to a team quarterbacked by Brian Hoyer and T.J. Yates, especially if that top team is playing at home in prime time.
My numbers love Arizona. They are leading the NFL in yardage differential and they have advantages on offense and defense. Arizona also has a strong home field advantage and Cincinnati has one fewer days of preparation because they had to play on Monday night. It is always tough for teams to play on Monday and then have to travel the following week. Arizona is playing on Sunday night for the second straight week and they will be excited for another primetime game. This is only Arizona’s second home game in the last seven weeks. They will take advantage and I do not see the Bengals being as sharp on the road. The Cardinals are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games and Arizona is 23-10 ATS in its last 33 games overall. This spread was at -3 before the MNF game. It was bet up to -5. I still think that is not enough points and I have Arizona winning this one by at least a touchdown

Yes I know this is a big number for a Seahawks team that is struggling on both sides of the ball. In October at San Francisco the Seahawks won 20-3 and I see another easy Seattle victory. Seattle’s defense will play better Sunday late afternoon and the Hawks offense will put up points against the 49ers defense. Russell Wilson has a big game on the ground and in the air and the Hawks win this game by 3 touchdowns or more at home. The Hawks need a big win in a big way! San Francisco is 0-6-1 ATS against NFC West teams and the Hawks are 5-2 ATS against a team with a losing record. Favorite in this series is 7-3-1 ATS and the Seahawks are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings


4 Unit Play. Take #464 Minnesota -1 over Green Bay (4:25p.m., Sunday November 22)


Yes the Minnesota Vikings are the best teams in the NFC North and Sunday the best team in the division will win. The Packers offense has been M.I.A. and the Vikings defense has been playing out of their minds and I see the Vikings putting pressure on the Packers offense all Sunday long. Minnesota has won 5-straight games while the Packers have dropped 3-straight and I see both trends continuing Sunday late afternoon. Home team in this series is 7-2 ATS and the Vikings are 8-0 ATS following SU win.


3 Unit Play. Take #455 Under 47.5 Dallas at Miami (1:05p.m., Sunday November 22)


Cowboys offense has been absent for weeks and I know Tony Romo comes back Sunday but this total is a bit too high. Dallas will try to establish the run but the Miami run defense has been really good as of late. The coaching change for Miami has been great for these Dolphins and defense will be key for Miami and for Dallas as well. The Cowboys will also have back Sean Lee the anchor of the Dallas ‘D’ and with him on the field that should proven better defense from Dallas. Should be a close game and I see this game flying UNDER as defense from both teams will be on par! Dallas is 1-6 O/U following a ATS loss and the Boys are 1-4 O/U in their last 5 road games.

5 Unit Play Take #464 Minnesota -1 over Green Bay (4:25pm est):


The Minnesota Vikings are the better of these two teams right now as they may hold a talent edge at every position on the field except quarterback. Aaron Rodgers has not looked like the Rodgers we’ve seen in years past as he was missing lots of guys last week in their the Packers loss to the Lions. Even when Green Bay was winning earlier this season they weren’t playing well as they easily could have lost home games to San Diego and St. Louis. Green Bay is still a good team but when the Packers take to the road they’ve had a losing record the past two seasons going 6-7 in away games. Even more incredible is the fact that Aaron Rodgers is 0-10 his last 10 games against above .500 teams.
Head coach Mike Zimmer has done a masterful job with the Minnesota Vikings as they continue to be undervalued in the betting markets. Incredibly the Vikings come into this game having covered the point spread in their last 8 contests overall and going back to last season they’ve went 16-3 against the spread. This is a huge divisional home game for the Vikings and their fans as the atmosphere should be electric. The home teams in this series have won 7 of the last 9 games. Add in the fact that the Packers have a short week coming up to worry about as they have to turn around and play Thursday on Thanksgiving as teams have struggled the game before a Thursday game this season.
Take Minnesota in this one.

We’ve seen all season how well teams have played following their bye week. No team in the NFL needed their bye week more than the San Diego Chargers as they’ve been hit hard with injuries this year. They will be returning a lot of bodies in this game as the Chargers haven’t been this healthy since earlier in the season. Despite all of this San Diego has been in nearly every game.
The Kansas City Chiefs have become overvalued over the past few weeks. The Chiefs faced a Detroit Lions team in London that looked like it didn’t want to be there. Last week they didn’t have to do much as Peyton Manning basically handed the game to the Chiefs. The week before they played Detroit the Chiefs took advantage of playing against Pittsburgh with back-up Landry Jones at QB.
Take San Diego and the points here. 6-Unit Play. #491. Take Under 50.5 Hamilton vs. Ottawa (Sunday @ 1:05pm est)

We roll with two selections this week in the CFL in the Divisional Finals. We have a Hamilton vs. Ottawa game that went well over the last time these two teams hooked up. Note that whenever teams play a basic home and home which is what Ottawa is doing as they face Hamilton, it is very difficult for the same type of high paced or low paced game depending on what they had the previous time they hooked to take place again. In other words, having another 44-28 Ottawa win is very unlikely. This is a Ottawa team that had not given up 28 points over its last 4 efforts and did hold Hamilton to just 6 points back on November 1st. We like Ottawa to step up defensively once again and continue to do well against Hamilton but more importantly for the game to go under. Combine that with Hamilton wanting to avoid giving up 44 points that they gave up to Ottawa, as that is the only way they have a shot at this game. The last time Hamilton gave up so many points was to British Columbia when they lost 13-40 as a -1.5 favorite. In their next immediate game they gave up 12 points to Ottawa. Now, they come off giving up 44 points to Ottawa and in their next game they gave up 22 to Toronto. Huge revenge game here for Hamilton as they likely step up defensively as this game likely goes under the posted total. The Under is 4-1 for the Tiger-Cats in their last 5 games when they face a team with a winning record and the Under is 7-2 when the Tiger-Cats face the East.

4-Unit Play. #493. Take Over 47 Calgary vs. Edmonton (Sunday @ 4:30pm est)

The other total we like this week is the Over in the Edmonton contest. Note that Edmonton is a small favorite in this game and in their last game they won 40-22 against Montreal. This is a team that has covered its last 2 games and has put up at least 24 points in 7 of their last 8 games. Combine that with just 26 and 23 points scored in the last 2 games these two teams have faced this year, there will undoubtedly be changes made in this contest to get more offensive output. In particular, we like Calgary to leave nothing in the bag here as this is a team that has won 15 games for a reason and lost just 4 contests. We like them to be an active underdog, push this game over the posted total and truly give Edmonton fits this time around as they look to avoid losing to them 3 straight times this season. Calgary goes for the jugular and shocker and upset here but more importantly, we like the Over in this contest

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet on Sunday afternoon in the Eastern Division Finals when the Hamilton Tiger-Cats travel to take on the Redblacks at the TD Place Stadium in Ottawa. Hamilton has posted a 4-1 record to the over in their last five road games and they have gone over the posted total five of their last seven road playoff games. Ottawa has been an over team as well in the spot they are in here on Sunday as they have gone 7-3 to the over in their last ten games following a straight up win and they have gone over the total in seven of their last eight games where they faced a team with a winning record. Throw in the fact that Ottawa has gone 6-1 to the over in their last seven games where they faced a team from the East, including a 44-28 win over Hamilton in the last week of the season and that's where we'll have our play in a game where we expect both teams to move the ball Sunday in Ottawa.

Two teams that have been trending to the under will meet on Sunday afternoon when the Calgary Stampeders travel to take on the Eskimos at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. Calgary has posted a 7-1-1 record to the under in their last nine games following a straight up win and they have stayed under the posted total in their last five games where they faced a team with a winning record. Edmonton has been an under team as well in the spot they are in here on Sunday afternoon as they have gone a perfect 4-0 to the under in their last four games where they faced a team with a winning % of .500 or greater. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 7-2 to the under in their last nine head to head meetings, including going 4-1 to the under in their last five in Edmonton and that's where we'll have our play in this one as we expect both teams to bring their A games when their defense is on the field as these teams try and advance to play for the Grey Cup on November 29th in Winnipeg.
