Today in the NBA, we are on Detroit - 1 1/2 over Milwaukee. The Bucks are really struggling having lost 3 in a row by a total of over 80 points combined. The Bucks are last in the league in rebounding, and are not getting back on defense where they give up over 105 ppg. The Pistons should get a huge game tonight fro Andre Drummond. He had 12 straight double doubles to start the season, and none of them was a cheapy. Drummond is dominating the NBA in rebounding at almost 18 per game. Jackson has become an excellent distributor of the ball for the Pistons.

Today in NCAAB, we are on the Bruins - 3 1/2 over UNLV. Both teams enter this game undefeated, but UNLV really has played against inferior type teams during their streak. This will be a huge step up for them. UCLA is getting just an incredible start from Tony Parker who has 3 straight double doubles to start the season. That hasn't happened at UCLA since the Bill Walton days. At 6'9", Parker is a huge matchup problem for UNLV this evening.




Today we are back on Clemson - 7 1/2. UMass is taking a huge step up in competition tonight. Clemson has won their first 3 games by a total of 97 points. Blossomgame has poured in 17 points per game, but is getting plenty of support as the bench has been deep and gotten playing time. The Tigers are shooting over 40% from 3 point range, which represents a huge improvement from last year.

Analysis: It's the first home game for the Mean Green and the Fans in Denton Texas are going to like what they see. Not because NT has a good team, although they should be very competitive this year, but because of the style of play which will be fun. This team is getting up and down the court this year, more so than last, and have scored 112 and 110 in their first two games. The opponents were not nearly as good as the one tonight but Wow nonetheless. Very strong pace is going to be the rule for North Texas and if history serves us well, it usually has, the Vandals will follow along tonight. Their Pace and offensive output has not been too spiffy just yet but they have not faced a team like they will tonight that will force the issue. Idaho last season was Upper Echelon Pace-wise and before it's over this year they will be similar. We can look for them to improve on their poor shooting in the 1st games of the season tonight facing a team that puÉts little emphasis on D. This is an Early Season Clear Mistake by the Oddsmakers who are still guessing and our number for this game is MUCH Higher. In fact I've readjusted the "Play To" Number to 151 for this contest. As usual the number has risen after release and my best guess is that it will continue. Predicting that is just not easy this season I would just go ahead and play at your best number now and not try to ticky tacky a better line..

Analysis: The Mocs can shoot and they do like the pace, as does Iowa State. No slowing down in this game and although we could see the Cyclones take an easy win and not have extra Free Throw Shots at the end, we should cover this High Number tonight. I am not a large proponent of these 160+ Numbers for playiÆng OVER but our number for this one says play 2% to 163.
