They have beaten UL-Lafayette and Chattanooga their last two times out and those are really good mid-major teams. Kent State has won four of its last five games. But they are not blowing teams out and their last two wins came by five points and four points. Kent State is not a great shooting team and both teams try to win with defense here. That should make this a lower scoring game and I think that the points will hold up. This play is all on the play of the Columbus Blue Jackets as of late right now the Jackets are looking to escape last place in their division. The MTS will be rocking tonight as the Jets will be looking to score first and quick as the Jackets will have their backup goalie between the pipes. Columbus will be without their starting goalie S. Bobrovsky for a while and with that I see the Jets putting on major pressure on offense and Winnipeg should have no problem scoring tonight at home. Winnipeg has won back-to-back home games beating Washington in overtime and Toronto and the Jets have won 2 out of their last 3 games. Columbus have dropped 4 out of 5 games and if the Jackets fall behind early tonight on the road this game could be over quickly for the road team. Both team played last night so tired legs can provide bad defense and the Bulls offense at times can score in bunches. Clippers last 12 road games 9 of them have gone over and the Clips are 15-5 O/U following a SU win.

These are two of the worst teams in the league. I don't think that there should be a spread this high between them. With so few games on the board I think the public will be looking to bet against the Sixers as a safe play. Brooklyn has been very good ATS lately, going 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games. But the Nets have only been an favorite one time this year and they lost that game outright. The 76ers are coming off an embarrassing 50-point loss to the Spurs. They are going to want to bounce back from that one and I think that this team is going to put out a good effort tonight. Take the points.
