DOC SPORTS 4 Unit Play. #550 Take California -6
over Saint Mary’s (3:30 pm PAC-12 Network) Just not a believer in the Gaels this season. They lost a lot of talent form last year and this will be their first true road game of the season. They are 6-0 but have not really been challenged beating up on a bunch Northern California schools that are not very good (Stanford included). The Bears are a perfect 6-0 at Haas Pavilion and all six of those victories have come by a higher margin than today’s posted number. This team is loaded with talent and they will enter this game having won three straight. Playing in this hostile environment will be too much for the Gales to overcome. 4 Unit Play. #556 Take New Mexico -4.5
over Northern Iowa (9 pm ESPN 3) The Panthers are nowhere near as good as they have been the last couple of years. The Lobos suffered through some injuries last season and the Pit is always a tough place to play. New Mexico has three players averaging over 16 points per game and their two losses are respectable (USC and Purdue). All five of the Lobos wins have been blowouts and I see them winning this game by 8-10 points. New Mexico is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against MVC teams. 4 Unit Play. #562 Take Michigan State -9.5
over Florida (6 pm ESPN 2) The Gators struggled to stay with Miami on the road and now they will face a better team in Michigan State. The Spartans have experience and they do not play again for a week so they will go all out to win this game. Michigan State is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games. Florida is 2-6 in their last 8 road games. 4 Unit Play. #563 Take Drake +8.5
over Nevada (7 pm) Nevada has shown some life for the first time in years and new coach Eric Musselman should turn into a great hire. But he still does not have his type of players and this Wolf Pack team is not a great shooting team. Thus this is too many points to be laying against a team from a similar conference. Drake is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games against teams from the MWC. Nevada is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games that have been lined. 4 Unit Play. #576 Take Kansas -13
over Oregon State (8 pm ESPN 2) This is a defacto home game for Kansas since this game is being played in Kansas City. The Jayhawks have just one loss on the season and that was a game they game away against Michigan State in the second half. The Beavers are an improved team under Wayne Tinkle, but they have not played a challenging schedule thus far and nobody near the class of Kansas. Oregon State is 0-8 ATS in their last 8 games against teams with a winning record.
ALAN HARRIS 3 Unit Play. Take #520 George Washington -17.5
over Rutgers (4:30 PM, Saturday, December 12, CBS Sports Network)
The George Washington Colonials will look to improve their record to 9-1 here in 2015 when they take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at the Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C. on Saturday afternoon. George Washington has posted an 8-3-1 ATS record in their last twelve non-conference games and they have gone a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last six games at home. Rutgers, on the other hand, has really struggled in the spot they are in here on Saturday as they have gone just 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games where they faced a team with a winning record dating back to last season and they have covered just two of their last ten games versus a team from the Atlantic 10. Throw in the fact that GW has gone an excellent 9-3-1 ATS in their last thirteen home games where they faced a team with a losing record on the road and we’ll lay the big number with them here to get the blowout win and cover over Rutgers on Saturday afternoon. 2 Unit Play. Take #527/528 Marquette vs. Wisconsin – Under 136.5
(1:30 PM, Saturday, December 12, ESPN 2) 2 Unit Play. Take #530 Penn St -7.5 over UL-Monroe
(2:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, BIG 10 Network) 2 Unit Play. Take #535 Youngstown St. +29
over Purdue (2:00 PM, Saturday, December 12) 2 Unit Play. Take #539 Tennessee +13
over Butler (2:30 PM, Saturday, December 12. FS1) 2 Unit Play. Take #545/546 Arizona St. vs. Kentucky – Over 141
(3:15 PM, Saturday, December 12, ESPN) 3 Unit Play. Take #551 Kansas St +9
over Texas A&M (5:30 PM, Saturday, December 12, SEC Network)
The Kansas St Wildcats will look to improve their record to 8-1 this season when they hit the road to take on the Texas A&M Aggies at the Reed Arena in College Station, TX on Saturday night. The Wildcats have posted a 4-1 ATS record in their last five games where they faced a team from the SEC and they have gone a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a straight up win. The Aggies, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games versus a team from the Big 12. Throw in the fact that Kansas St. has covered their last nine games following a win by 20 points or more in their previous game and we’ll take the points with them on the road Saturday in a game that we think they have a chance to win outright over Texas A&M) 2 Unit Play. Take #557 North Carolina -7
over Texas (5:15 PM, Saturday, December 12, ESPN) 4 Unit Play. Take #568 Boise St -3
over Oregon (7:00 PM, Saturday, December 12. CBS Sports Network)
The Boise St. Broncos will look to extend their winning streak to three games when they take on the Oregon Ducks at the Taco Bell Arena in Boise, ID on Saturday night. Boise has posted a 16-5 ATS record in their last 21 games following an ATS win and they have gone an excellent 12-2 ATS in their last fourteen home games. Throw in the fact that Boise has gone a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss and that Oregon has already lost to a Mountain West team this season (UNLV) and we’ll lay the small number tonight with Boise to get the win and cover on their home court Saturday night. 2 Unit Play. Take #570 Central Florida -9
over Florida Atlantic (7:00 PM, Saturday, December 12) 2 Unit Play. Take #575/576 Oregon St. vs Kansas – Over 146.5
(8:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, ESPN 2) 4 Unit Play. Take #578 Southern Illinois -14
over North Texas (8:00 PM, Saturday, December 12)
The Southern Illinois Salukis will look to bounce back from a tough two point loss to SIU-Edwardsville on Wednesday night when they take on the North Texas Mean Green at the SIU Arena in Carbondale, IL on Saturday night. North Texas has posted an awful 3-8 ATS record in their last eleven games following a straight up loss by 20 points or more and they have failed to cover in their last seven non-conference games. The Salukis, despite their loss earlier in the week, have been pretty good in the spot they are in here on Saturday as they have gone 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games where they faced a team with a losing record. Throw in the fact that the Mean Green have gone 9-23-1 ATS in their last 33 games following a double digit loss on their home court and we’ll lay the big number here with Southern Illinois in a game that our numbers have them winning by 20+ points on Saturday. 2 Unit Play. Take #581/582 Minnesota vs Oklahoma St – Over 144
(8:30 PM, Saturday, December 12, BIG 10 Network) 2 Unit Play. Take #591 UNLV -5
over Cal-Riverside (7:00 PM, Saturday, December 12) 2 Unit Play. Take #593 UCLA +7.5
over Gonzaga (10:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, ESPN 2) 2 Unit Play. Take #624 SIU-Edwardsville -1
over Portland St (5:00 PM, Saturday, December 12)
7-Unit Play. Take #516 Dallas (-6.5) over Washington (8:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12) The Wizards are going to be very shorthanded again in this game. They had to play with just 10 available guys because leading scorer Bradley Beal is hurt, along with most of their top frontcourt players. They lost again last night to New Orleans and are just 9-12 on the season. This has been a very inconsistent club and I think they will get blown out here. Dallas beat the Wizards by 12 points just six days ago and that game was in Washington. I think they will do the same here on their home court. Dallas has spent most of the last few weeks on the road. They have played just three home games since Nov. 21 compared to seven road games. They have only played at home four times in the last month. Dallas lost at home to Atlanta its last time out and that was a second straight home loss. I do not see this team losing three in a row. The Mavs are 4-0 ATS after a los and 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games. Dallas has gone 11-5 ATS in its last 16 games overall and the Wizards have really struggled on the second of back-to-back games, going 4-11 ATS when playing without rest. The favorite is 5-1 ATS when these two teams play and the Mavericks are a perfect 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Lay the points here.
4 Unit Play. Take #504 Charlotte -2.5 over Boston (7:05 p.m., Saturday, December 12) No matter what the outcome yesterday in Boston between the Warriors/Celtics I was playing Charlotte if the number was 4-points or less. Last night the Celtics lost to the champs in double overtime and tonight in the Time Warner Cable Arena I see the red hot Hornets winning easily. Last night on the road the Hornets beat up Memphis winning 123-99 and Charlotte has won 4-straight. With tired legs and an emotional lost last night for the Celtics I'm all in against the Hornets.
