This line jumped off the page at me. Why would Sacramento be favored on the road? This King team is not used to being in the role of favorite and they have not been a road favorite one time yet this year. But they are on a solid 3-1 ATS run in the role of favorite overall. I think that the books know something that the public doesn't! The public is taking Minnesota here but this has been an overachieving Timberwolves team all year. They just lost to lowly New York their last time out and this team is on a 0-8 ATS slide. They have been terrible at home and on the road and their only win in the month of December came by one point over the Lakers. The Kings had a lot of drama early in the season. They seem to be playing hard and playing well now. I think that they will keep it going and will deal the Timberwolves another loss in this one.

Finally the Chicago Bulls are looking like the team we thought they would look like this NBA season. The Bulls have won 4-straight games and Chicago is coming off a big home win against Memphis 98-85 and the Bulls defense was nothing but outstanding Detroit comes to the Windy City off a home win over Boston 119-16 but tonight I'm hoping we see a Pistons team like we saw early in the month when the Hornets beat them on the road 104-84. Detroit has lost 4 out of their last 5 road games and that one road win was against the 76ers. Tonight the backcourt of Chicago will be too much for Detroit to handle and if the Bulls continue to play great team defense I see the Bulls winning another home game. Home team in this series is 4-1 ATS and the Pistons are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games.

I'm a big fan of this Florida Panthers team. They are one of the more underrated teams in the NHL this season. I made this line with the Panthers being the small favorite. They have the much better goalie in this one as Carolina is expected to play Cam Ward in the nets.

Carolina returns home here for just one game tonight then hits the road again after this one. This is a bad spot for the Hurricanes especially here at this price and with Ward at goalie for them
