The wrong team is favored. What is Murray State favored for? The Racers are losers of three straight, and at 5-5 this team isn’t the same type mid-major they have been in years past. Murray State doesn’t have the luxury anymore from NBA first round pick Cameron Payne, as well as their second and third leading scorers from 2014. That has obviously hampered things minus four starters from a 29-win team. On the other hand, SIU is greatly improved. Anthony Beane is a stud for the Salukis, and his star presence is a big reason why Southern Illinois have started 9-2. Not only are these two teams going in the opposite direction but this is also payback for Murray State beating SIU in Carbondale last season. We’re on the better team from the better conference. The points are a bonus as its an outright winner for the MVC over the OVC.

We haven’t been on the Knicks much this season but we love them tonight. New York already beat Philly by 12 earlier in the season and we expect more of that tonight. New York is playing solid basketball as of late as they are going for their third straight win tonight. The 76ers meanwhile have lost 10 of their 11 home games this season. This is a Knicks team that looked good going 8-6 in their first 14 games but slowed down a bit during a mini-losing streak. They are starting to get back on track getting wins over Portland and Minnesota. Even if the 76ers come out firing in the first half the better team , New York, will take control as KP-6, Carmelo, and Aaron Aflalo, will prove to be just too much for Philly.


The Knicks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games versus the NBA Atlantic Division. The Knicks are also a solid bet following an ATS win or a S.U. win as they are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following an ATS win and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games following a S.U. win.
