East Carolina's not a great defensive team. They have given up 70 or more points in seven of their 11 games. James Madison can score and they've hit 100 twice and topped 69 in eight of their 11 games. The 'over' is 11-4 in ECU's last 15 games overall and I see this one played at a pretty open pace. Madison shot 39.6 percent in its last game and held their opponent to just 31 percent. Those numbers are severe outliers compared to Madison's season averages and normal play. I think East Carolina's numbers are a little inflated because they've played a weak schedule as well. This is a team that was No. 264 in defensive efficiency last year; they are better, but not THAT much better. And they are playing at a little faster tempo.
I also have a lean on Monmouth, but that number is a little thick for my liking.
