I am going big with the Hoyas today. This team has lost two straight. I think they are going to bounce back with a blowout here. The only beat Charlotte by three points last year. They won't take them lightly this time. The Hoyas won't take anyone lightly after two straight losses. The Hoyas are 0-4 ATS in their last four games and I think they will turn that one around. Charlotte has been blown out by Miami, Davidson, Michigan and Syracuse this year. They don't have the talent to play with these top teams from the biggest and best conferences. They are at home here but this team doesn't have a great home court advantage and there will probably be more Georgetown fans there tonight! The Hoyas are 4-1 ATS on the road and they are an excellent 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games following a straight up loss. Georgetown needs to get going again and they will with a major winner here.

The Cavaliers have a great home court advantage. They have one of the best home court edges in the ACC and the Cavaliers have been on a roll. They blasted Villanova by 11 points at home on Saturday and they are going to do even better here against Cal. Virginia has won eight straight games and they have blowout wins over Villanova and West Virginia. Cal has not played a good schedule this year. They have lost to the best two teams that they have played in San Diego State and Richmond. They also have only played one road game and needed OT to beat a weak Wyoming team. This team is not strong enough to go on the road and play with the Cavaliers and I think that this one is going to be a blowout. Cal is 1-5 ATS on the road and 2-6 ATS against ACC teams. The Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS at home and 5-2 ATS overall.

The favorite has covered four of the last five meetings (5-2 ATS in L7) and the home team has been the play in this series, winning four straight (4-0 ATS) and five of six. The Pistons have covered five straight games. But that streak is going to get snapped here. They are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games and Miami has been on a nice 4-1 ATS run of its own so they are playing better. Lay the points.
