Millionaires--Auburn

PerfectPlay--NC State +
Senior QB Jacoby Brissett is a senior playing in his last game and he’ll look to get a signature win for his NC State Wolfpack team. NFL fans should pay close attention to QB Brissett and OG Joe Thuney as they are impressive. This is a game the Wolfpack are motivated to play well as it's a chance to beat a SEC team. NC State has a good run offense that will easily set up Brissett's passing game. The fan support will side with the Wolfpack as they are just a two hour drive away from home. Mississippi State's defense gave up 77 points in their last two conference games. Somebody may have thrown in the towel a month ago. This is basically a home game and the Bulldogs have little interest or motivation.
---------------------------------- Pinnacle--Wisconsin +
Wisconsin was two plays away from playing for the Big 10 Championship but failed so this is a huge game for them to prove to their fan base and the entire Big 10 that they truly are a top notch team. This is the players chance to impress first year coach Paul Chryst. Additionally, this would be a huge feather as this would give the Badgers a ten win season. That's a rare accomplishment for a rookie coach. The Trojans have relied more on the run the second half of the season with new coach Helton taking over. Wisconsin's run defense is exceptional as the Trojans will find out. This is a very strong, very aggressive defensive 3-4 scheme that gets into the backfield and stuffs drives on a regular basis. USC isn’t going to be able to power over this group. Wisconsin's defense is that good being the nation’s No. 1 scoring defense and No. 3 total D and well rested. QB Joel Stave for the Badgers gets a chance to "redeem" himself. Look for him to move the ball just enough to match scores and let the defense win this game for the Big 10 representative.
252 NC State & Mississippi State in Charlotte, NC
The Wolfpack have one of the absolute worst resumes of all the bowl teams this season. NC State was 0-5 against fellow bowlers being out gained by 124 yards per contest. The Wolfpack wins on the season were against Troy, Eastern Kentucky, Old Dominion, South Alabama, Boston College, Wake Forest & Syracuse. Only one of its five losses was by single digits.
Mississippi State faced the much tougher schedule and managed four victories in the eight games against bowl opposition. The four losses for the Rebels came against LSU, Texas A&M, Mississippi and Alabama. All teams that were ranked in the Top 10 at some point on the season.
While both teams enter bowl play off a loss to its in-state rival, we expect the Bulldogs to be more fired up here. This is the final game for QB Dak Prescott and this team laid an egg last year in the Orange Bowl loss to Georgia Tech.

7-Unit Play. #250. Take Auburn -2.5 over Memphis (Wednesday @ 12pm est)
We roll with Auburn for the top play this week. Being a Alabama fan we are not opposed to going with Auburn as a win, is a win, is a win is the old saying. And the Tigers get set up against a Memphis team and winning here would actually mean more to Auburn than to Memphis. Why? Well a few things. For starters, Memphis beat Ole Miss at home. And, if Auburn can win here they get to save face with their administration and fan base some what. Plus, Auburn has had a shake up in their defensive staff as obviously Muschamp is headed to South Carolina and this crew will want to put their best foot forward given their new found opportunity. Auburn is 6-6 and this team does not want to end the season on a losing note. It really is all about motivation. And, believe it or not, it is the SEC team that will be highly motivated to face Memphis. Note, Auburn comes off a 13-29 loss to Alabama and will be looking to bounce-back from that loss. Plus, this team has only lost back to back games once this year and that was to Miss State and LSU in back to back games as they have shown a lot of pride coming off a loss. And, we belivee it will be hard for SMU to get up coming off a 63-0 loss over SMU as a 20 point favorite. This team had lost 3 in a row prior to that and ended up winning big but we feel that their emotion will be "shot" so to speak after that big win. Auburn picks up a much needed win and bounces-back here as they would like the mantle of beating a team that had previously beaten Ole Miss.
3-Unit Play. #251. Over 61 Miss State vs. NC State (Wednesday @ 3:30pm est)
The final selection this week is the over in the NC State game. Note that NC State could very well win this game outright. This is why they are just a 5 point underdog despite 72% of the public on Miss State. Note that NC State has a top 60 offense and we suspect them to have a high quality active dog potential. This team scored 34 on UNC, 42 on Syracuse, 41 on Clemson and faces a Miss State that gave up 88 points in their last two games. And, it's hard to see State getting up to face a NC State team from the ACC. We believe that NC State takes an early lead into the half and then Miss State wakes up for a big second half and consequently this game goes
