3-Unit Play. Take #521 Texas Tech (-2.5) over TCU (7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 18)
I don't think there is any doubt who the better team is here. Texas Tech has dumped four in a row. But they've had a brutal schedule and they haven't played that poorly against the top competition in the Big 12. TCU has lost four of five, and they haven't looked as sharp. This is a clear rebuilding season for the Horned Frogs and I think they could have a letdown after putting up a pretty good fight in Lawrence over the weekend.

1-Unit Play. Take #535 Oklahoma (+2) over Iowa State (9 p.m., Monday, Jan. 18)
I know it is usually crazy to bet against Iowa State on their home gym. But they already lost to Baylor at home, they should've lost to Iowa, and they didn't cover against Texas Tech in a game that was close. This Iowa State team just isn't as good as the ones from the last two years. They can still play. They're still a quality squad. But Oklahoma is a Top 5 team with one of the best backcourts in the country. They already beat the Cyclones once this year and they have played pretty well in Hilton the past two seasons.

2-Unit Play. Take #538 Monmouth (-7) over Siena (4 p.m., Monday, Jan. 18)
No team in the league has been able to stay within eight points of Monmouth this year and their average win has been by 12 points a game. Siena looks like it has gotten itself together, winning six of their last eight games. But they've been terrible on the road and I think their pressing style is going to open them up for a blowout here. Monmouth has great guard play and an open, free-flowing game plays to their strength.
