I will go with the home team in this one. I bet against Notre Dame on Sunday and they won by a blowout. Demetrius Jackson was not supposed to play but the Irish got their star point guard back for that one. I still don't think he is 100 percent. And I thin kthat the Irish are going to struggle here on the road in Florida. The Irish haven't covered the spread in two straight games since early December. They are just 1-3 ATS as an underdog and they are 2-6 ATS after a win. Notre Dame is just 1-6 ATS when they face a team that is over .600. Miami has been very good at home and I think that they will be up for this game.


3-Unit Play. Take #551 Marquette (+7.5) over Seton Hall (7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3)


This is too many points for this matchup. Marquette is a tough team. They play hard and they are improving as the season wears on. The Golden Eagles have won three straight and they took care of Butler their last time out. Marquette has revenge for a 20-point loss at home already this year. I think they could win this one outright. The home team has won five straight in this series and the home team is 14-5 ATS in the last 19 in this series. Seton Hall is not used to being a favorite. They have only been favored in three of their last nine games and are just 1-2 ATS in those games. This one should be close throughout. Take the points.


3-Unit Play. Take #559 Mississippi (-3) over Missouri (9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3)


Ole Miss should have no problem taking care of Missouri here. The Tigers have lost six straight and were blown out by Mississippi State on Saturday. Even though Mizzou is a big underdog in most games they are still just 1-3 ATS in their last four and 2-4 ATS in their last six games. This is the worst team in the SEC and they are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 league games. The Rebels are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games after a loss and they are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. Missouri has no home field advantage and they are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 gams. Ole Miss should take care of business.
