8 Unit Play. #523 Take George Washington +9.5 over VCU (12 pm CBSSN) Atlantic 10 Game of the Year. I always like taking underdogs with 12 pm eastern start games. George Washington has talent and I just do not see them getting blown out in this game. The Rams are a perfect 9-0 during conference play but they have been on the ropes a few times this season and were lucky to escape against St Joes, Richmond, and St Bonaventure. Those are similar teams to George Washington and I expect them to take this game down to the wire as well. We went against VCU last season for an 8-unit play with a similar number and Richmond ended up beating the Rams straight-up. It is the same thing with VCU this season, as they are not a great shooting team and struggle to blown teams out unless they are able to turn you over. If the Colonials can avoid turnovers, they will cover this game. VCU showed they were not that good in during their nonconference portion of the season losing five times. The Rams are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games against teams with a winning road record. The Colonials are 7-3 ATS (1 push) in their last 11 games against teams with a winning record. Take the points in this affair.
4 Unit Play. #547 Take St Josephs -6.5 over Fordham (2 pm) The Hawks are just a much better team than are the Rams. St Joes ran into a hot shooting team on Wednesday and suffered a rare loss but expect them to bounce back in a big way on Saturday. The Rams have not recorded a quality win during conference play and their last three losses have been blowouts. St Joes is 13-3 ATS (1 push) in their last 17 games. Fordham is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games.
4 Unit Play. #570 Take Georgia State -1 over UT-Arlington (2:30 pm) The Mavericks have lost four straight games and this will be there fourth straight road game. The Panthers play good defense allowing just 63 points per game and look for them to win two straight on Saturday. UT-Arlington is 0-4 ATS in their last four games as well.
4 Unit Play. #672 Take La Salle +7 over Rhode Island (8 pm ANS) Will not speculate who will be playing for Rhode Island but we will take a shot with the home team Explorers. The Rams lost to a terrible UMASS team on Tuesday and they just do not warrant being this big of a favorite against anybody in the league. La Salle is terrible but they did beat Dayton at home and expect them to be up for this game.
