I will go with the road team in this rivalry matchup. This line opened at Miami -2 and this is a quality Top 20 team. The spread jumped up to -4 and that's because Miami should win this one going away. The Hurricanes have revenge for an ugly 20-point loss that they took at home against Tech last year. The road team has won five straight in this series and Miami has been sharp with four wins in their last five games. Georgia Tech is coming off a very disappointing loss to Duke earlier this week and I think their confidence is shot. Miami is 16-7 ATS in its last 23 games and Georgia Tech is 2-6 ATS at home against a team with a winning road record.

2-Unit Play. Take #870 James Madison (-3) over Hofstra (3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 7)

Home court will play a big advantage in this one. Hofstra is coming off a tough home loss to UNC-Wilmington. That loss dropped Hofstra to third place in the CAA and now they have to face a James Madison team that is making a climb up in the standings. Madison lost its last home game and I don't see them losing two in a row here. Madison is 6-2 ATS in its last eight games and they already beat Hofstra once on the road this year. The Dukes are 3-1 ATS in the last four meetings the past two years and they should outrebound and outplay the smaller Pride today. Lay the points.
