This one should be a blowout! Massachusetts is one of the worst teams in the Atlantic 10 this year. VCU is clearly the best team in this conference. VCU will trap and press all game long. That is going to hurt a UMass team that is one of the worst in the country in terms of taking care of the ball. Massachusetts has fallen hard after a few years near the top of the league standings. They lost a lot of veterans from last year's team and their young guards have not been up to the task. VCU is a team that is working to secure an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament in case they don't win the A-10. They won't slip up on the road here and I think that this game could be a 25-point blowout.
2-Unit Play. Take #742 Valparaiso (-19.5) over Northern Kentucky (8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11)
This game is a mismatch, pure and simple. Valparaiso is one of the best mid-major teams in the country. They can win this game by 30 points and I think that is exactly what they will do against a NKU team that is struggling to step up its play in its new league.
2-Unit Play. Take #724 Oakland (-6) over UW-Milwaukee (8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11)
Oakland won the first meeting in MIlwaukee and the Grizzlies have been a great bet all season long. This team is focused on winning a league title and they won't slip up here. Milwaukee won't be able to score enough to keep up in this one and the Grizz keep rollingComment

Analysis: At 7 pm, our selection is on the Wisconsin Milwaukee Panthers + the points over Oakland. The Grizzlies are 6-0 SU and 5-0-1 ATS over their last six games, including an 82-79 upset win at Milwaukee on January 25. But we'll take the revenge-minded Panthers on Thursday night, as they fall into 356-221, 303-174 and 93-44 ATS systems of mine. Moreover, Milwaukee is an awesome 35-17 ATS in the regular season when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season to a conference foe. And it's 28-14 in conference games off a SU/ATS loss, if it also lost two games back (including 9-0 its last nine when playing with same season revenge). Take Wisconsin Milwaukee.Comment

2-Unit Play. Take #51 Anaheim (-135) over Columbus (7:00) p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11)
Anaheim is now 8-2 over their last ten games and are surging at the right time. Earlier in the season this team couldn't score and was averaging less than 2 goals per game. Now they have 41 goals in their last 11 games and are averaging 3.7 over the stretch. I really like the way this Duck's squad has turned around their season and don't see Columbus being able to keep up with them tonight. The Blue Jackets are only 5-3-0-2 in their last ten games and continue to be plagued by injuries to key players. It will be very tough for the Blue Jackets to match the physical play of this Ducks squad tonight. Anaheim has also been playing well on the road, they are 4-1 in their last 5 road games. Look for Anaheim win in Columbus tonight.
3-Unit Play. Take #64 Chicago (-135) over Dallas (7:00) p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11)
Last week these two teams faced off against each other in Dallas and I predicted a Chicago victory. Within the prediction I spoke about how this Dallas team wasn't going to be able to win the Cup this year and that you would see why during the match-up. The final verdict was a 5-1 victory for Chicago. The Dallas Stars have a major issue going forward because of their lack of discipline and transitioning problems (offense to defense). The better teams in the league are taking advantage of this. Dallas can score and hold their own against some of these weaker squads but Chicago is just too good at home. They are 21-6-1 on the season and are coming off a home loss to the Sharks. I don't foresee this Blackhawk team dropping two in a row at home and think this game will be very similar to the one just played in Dallas.Comment
