The injuries continue to accumulate for this Florida Panthers squad and their play over their last 5 games has been ugly. They have gone 1-4 over the stretch with their one win coming from Buffalo. The Panthers losses have come from Pittsburgh (3-2), Detroit (3-0), St. Louis (5-3) and Nashville (0-5). Florida has given up 16 goals to these teams while scoring only 5 and Luongo hasn't looked the same lately ether. He is 1-2-4 with a 2.92 GAA in his past seven starts. Pittsburgh continues to improve on the ice and are playing solid hockey right now. They are 19-7 over their last 26 games against the Panthers and have won 7 of their last 9 overall. Their offense continues to get better and is averaging 2.6 GPG while scoring almost 20 percent of the time on the power play. Crosby looks to be back in form and is firing on all cylinders right now. The Panthers injuries are proving costly during their losing stretch and think this will hold true again today.

3-Unit Play. Take #60 Chicago (-1.5, +125) over Toronto (8:35 p.m., Monday, Feb. 15)

The Hawks fell out of the top spot of the Central division thanks to losing 3 straight at home while only posting 4 total goals over the stretch. But Chicago hasn't gone winless on a homestand of at least four games since February 2003 and I am betting their luck turns around against this Maple Leafs team who is buying for the number one draft pick. Toronto is currently without four of their top forwards due to injury and the weak lines they were pushing out on the ice before will need to be juggled around again. The Maple Leafs can't compete with the Blackhawks today with their inconsistent play. Toronto still holds the worst power play percentage in the NHL and the Blackhawks will take advantage of this. The Blackhawks have won 10 of 12 in this series and five straight match-ups against Toronto at home. They dominate teams with a winning % less than .400 and are 52-13. Look for the Blackhawks to dominate the pace of play in this game and score a bunch of goals against this banged up Toronto team.

PSG comes into this Champions League matchup going 4-0-1 in their last 5 league and Cup games and with PSG getting this game at home I see another W on the PSG board. Chelsea is coming off an easy W over Newcastle at home but sorry Premier League fans PSG is not even close to Newcastle and PSG will be too much to handle for Chelsea. PSG wins easily and wouldn't shock me to see a 1-0 or 2-0 victory.

WEDNESDAY CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SOCCER

Too much offense and talent on the field for Roma and this game might start off tight but in the second half I see ball possession and talent alone winning this match and that all favors Real Madrid. Should see some goals scored in this game with Real Madrid taking control of this game in the second half. Real Madrid are undefeated in 9 games, 6 of which have come under Zidane and yes I know Madrid struggle on the road against Italian teams but Wednesday Madrid grabs a road victory
