The Spurs have seen their last two stay below the total and are off a very low-scoring game. That was at Utah though and this is at Houston, a world of difference there. The Jazz are all about defense. The Rockets are all about offense. Houston scores 105.6 points a game and allows even more than that. Two 2016 meetings between these teams have produced 229 and 224 points, both of them blowout wins by the Spurs at San Antonio. The Spurs will be able to score big once again, only this time, playing on their own home floor, the Rockets will do a better job of keeping up. The Rockets have seen five straight games top the total. The scored 103 or more points in all five games, 110 or more in four of them, and they allowed 100 or more in all five. They've scored 114 or more in three straight and nothing changes here.

New Orleans is coming off a big home against OKC and they have won 3 out of 4 games and that big win over OKC should carry the momentum tonight against the lonely Wolves. It's hard for visiting teams to get up for these mid-afternoon NHL games like Florida plays in here today. The Panthers are a badly banged up hockey team right now missing a couple of key pieces. They've been overvalued for most of the season as they've outplayed their advanced stats in a big way.

Columbus comes in playing some decent hockey of late with 8 wins in their last 13 games overall. They've scored 4 goals or more in nearly half of those games and even more impressive than that is they've only been favored 3 times in those last 13 games overall.

4-Unit Play. Take #57 St. Louis (+120) over Nashville (3:05) p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27)

This is a perfect game for St. Louis to get back on track. The Blues will try to avid their third straight loss by sweeping a five game season series against the Nashville Predators. St. Louis, though, is seeking a fifth straight road win and has earned at least a point in nine of its last ten away from home. Even with the injuries the Blues have faced I still think this team has more depth than the Predators. This is also a great game for Jake Allen to come back to life. He owns a 1.72 GAA while winning hi last four starts against Nashville. The Predators are going to be riding a high after beating the raining champs the other night in Chicago. And, whether you win or lose against the Blackhawks the next game is always a tough game to win because the Blackhawks make you play such a different style. Nashville is 4-1 in their last five games but are only 3-5-2 in their last ten at home. The Blues are 5-1 in their last 6 games after playing on 1 day of rest and 5-0 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous contest. Take the Blues tonight in Nashville.
