Pinnacle--USC + ***Pac 12 Game of Year USC is at home where they are almost unbeatable with a 17-2 home record. The Trojans are scoring 81 PPG on offense while shooting 46% from the floor as a team. There''s a tremendous amount of motivation for USC as they will have to get to the tournament with an at large bid. The Ducks have already secured the PAC12 regular season title so they may play somewhat uninspired having defeated UCLA on Thursday and not really needing this game. This also gives the Trojans a chance to extract revenge from a 7 point loss in January. Jordan McLaughlin should have another good shooting game as he has been accurate of late. USC had eleven three point shits on Thursday and should carry that confidence into this game. Jovanovic also seems to be over his shooting slump. SC has the defense and now their shots are beginning to fall. Look for another strong output at home where they play as well as any in the conference.

4-Unit Play. Take #11 Montreal (+115) over Winnipeg (7:05) p.m., Saturday,* Mar. 5)

Neither of these teams have been playing great hockey but the depth of Montreal should overcome this Winnipeg team looking ahead to the end of the season. Winnipeg only has 2 wins in their last 10 games and only 1 win at home over the stretch. The Canadians managed a season low 15 shots in a 3-2 loss to Los Angeles on Thursday, scoring 2 goals for the third straight game. But this Jets team doesn't play as physical as Anaheim, San Jose or LA and I anticipate Montreal to put up a ton of shots tonight. Montreal has the overall better offense, defense and has more skilled players on the ice in tonights match-up. Winnipeg can't seem to put things together and while the Canadians continue to struggle they have the ability to beat anyone with their talent. Take Montreal in Winnipeg tonight.

3-Unit Play. Take #3 Nashville (-130) over Colorado (3:05) p.m., Saturday, Mar. 5)

I was shocked to see Nashville give up five goals to the New Jersey Devils the other night and also surprised that they couldn't win at home after such a great road trip. The Predators went 4-0 on the roadprior to their loss to the Devils and now will look to get back on track in Colorado and continue pushing for a playoff spot. Besides the hiccup the other night the Predators have been playing very well. They won 5 straight beating Montreal (2-1), Toronto (3-2), Chicago (3-1), St. Louis (5-0) and then Dallas (5-3). With the offense really starting to click for the Predators and the defense playing better than it has all season look for Nashville to win another game on the road in Colorado tonight.

6-Unit Play. Take #13 Ottawa (-135) over Toronto (7:05) p.m., Saturday, Mar. 5)

If Ottawa can't win this game then they might as well throw in the towel. On February 6th these two faced off against each other and the Senators offense was on full display. Ottawa ended up winning that game 6-1 and it was obvious that the Maple Leafs had no answer on the defensive end. The Senators still have a good shot to make the playoffs but they need to start winning now. Like I said before, if they can't beat Toronto tonight in a desperation game than they don't deserve to make the playoffs period. Look for another strong performance from Ottawa's offense who will be hungry after only putting up 1 to Tampa Bay the other night.

Not passing up on a shot to get a team as good as Washington here at plus money. The Capitals come in off a tough loss last night which should only help their focus and motivation for this one. The Bruins have been one of the more of the more overrated teams all year having played an easy schedule and who've not been good at home either.

This play sets up as a great spot to fade Washington who is coming off a big TV game against Cleveland last night. The knee jerk reaction would be to take Washington returning home looking to bounce back but honestly I expect a letdown after the Cleveland game. Indiana plays with revenge as Washington beat them in Indiana back on Jan 15th by 14 points. Note that this is Washington’s 6th game in 10 days and over the last 2 years when at home in this situation they are just 7-17 ATS. My numbers have Indiana winning by 3-5 points.

641 Colorado / 642 Utah OVER 140.0 PinnacleAnalysis: We have played a lot of Utah Home Games OVER thi—s season, mostly with success but not the last 2 times. They are 9-5 OVER here this season and 22-10 the last few years but that has nothing to do with this game tonight. We say this a lot but it is so true. It's all about the Number and this one, which is down from the 1st meeting a couple of ticks is just too low for this situation and this venue. Utah has extreme Offensive Efficiency + they Pace up often on this court. Colorado will not only run a lot of transition, but they don't get back that well to defend and late in the campaign this season, they are getting worse at doing that. This betting line of -11.5 at most spots (It was PK in the 1st Meeting) suggests that the Utes will run away with this game. A combination of things could give them a share of the Pac 12 Reg Championship if they do win. As well as they are playing I do think they win going away so we are not likely to get those late free throws in the game.But based on what we think we know, we are not going to need that. You can play 3% here to 143. More details if needed later..
